I have my appointment date from AMM. Got an email this morning from them.
The K3 appointment will be on November 4th at 7:30. But ISA I will be done with the NVC for the 130/CR1 and it will also be in Amman by then and they will interview for that visa.
I will be there ISA for it as our wedding reception will be October 14 or 15. After a honeymoon at a location TBD, we will come back to Jordan for the interview and I will unfortunately have to leave her there until she comes in December; as I need to move to a new place and get it ready for her arrival!
Thanks to everyones continued support and I hope and pray we will all are reunited soon.

Cute! That is great!

Congrats! It's now on to the embassy!!!! BEST WISHES!

What type of petition?
-
Its not an actual RFE because they didn't receive teh DS230....like they don't mail you an RFE....that is why this type is a "False RFE" . The AVR system recorded message refers to the fact that "we have reviewed....and found some information missing...".

No you can not (at least No at the stage that you are on)... not if the bill has not been generated.... It seems like your AOS was already generated now you have to wait until they generate the IV bill...Don't worry is only a couple of days of waiting... If you pay before you can get a week or 2 delayed until they can process the payment... Many VJ members have had problems with the online payment, so it's better to wait until the bills are generated (get the IIN) and pay them online!!!!!!
Absolutely! Wait until you know the fee bill has been generated before attempting to pay online. I cut it close...and got lucky. i paid online on thursday thinking since it allowed me to do so that it was ready to accept payment. I was kicking myself yesterday. But I got lucky and the fee bill was generated yesterday while the payment I made was pending...and it is now stating PAID for the IV FEE BILL.
-
I just logged in this morning to the online payment system. The invoice pages shows PAID, the receipts pages shows PAID and I can print off my barcode!! I called the automated line just now....it IV Fee Bill was generated yesterday so it looks like things worked out!!!!!!!!!!! I am good to go!! I am going to get the DS 230 package ready to send out on Monday morning express mail. H3LL YA!!!!!!!!!!
-
Dude look at the guides, all the information is there, step by step. The barcodes from when you pay online need to be printed and sent in with the 864 and DS230 forms along with specified documents needed for each of those forms.
-
Ask if you can fax the NOA2 to a specific person at NVC....the email is taking upwards of two weeks to get to.
-
Once you have the IIN for the AOS Fee Bill, it is the same number for the IV Fee Bill, and the IV Fee Bill is not generated until the returned DS3032 is in the NVC system, while the AOS Fee Bill is immediately available to pay once the DS3032 is generated.

Did you sponsor him? Yes.
Is he a LPR? Yes.
Per the 864 you filed for him previously you are obligated to abide by the conditions until one of several things happends to him:
Your obligation to support the immigrant you are sponsoring
in this affidavit of support will continue until the sponsored
immigrant becomes a U.S. citizen, or can be credited with 40
qualifying quarters of work in the United States. Although 40
qualifying quarters of work (credits) generally equates to 10
years of work, in certain cases the work of a spouse or parent
adds qualifying quarters toward eligibility. The Social
Security Administration can provide information on how to
count qualifying quarters (credits) of work. The obligation
also ends if you or the sponsored immigrant dies or if the
sponsored immigrant ceases to be a lawful permanent resident
and departs the United States. Divorce does not end the
sponsorship obligation.
Bottom line you have to count him.

Thanks for the information, but I say it doesn't hurt to keep trying until you get it. Nothing lost in trying.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I can't wait to meet Ibrahim in Chicago! We might have to stop in the suburbs for some coffee
Oh, that is what it is called now!
-
I have voted and verified. Good luck!!

JJ all the forms are available online...you don't need to wait for them to send them to you...you just need to wait for them to be generated. But if you hear the AVR system tell you that the I864 has been generated, that means that NVC is waiting for it...If you wait for it it could be up to three weeks for them to enter it into the system. BUT once you hear it is generated, you can overnight it and when it gets there they will enter it into the system. You save two weeks right there!

Thanks
These next steps are overwhelming me. I'm not sure why, but they are. I need to take a few deep breaths and study. This is what I know so far:
Both he and I get a DS3032, I get the $70 aos bill
He sends in the DS3032. I send in the $70---here is were it gets fuzzy for me,
I get something about the I864 then? Then do I get the bill for $400? Then a DS230 package comes? This is just about more than I can handle at this moment.
jJ
The DS3032 when entered into the NVC system triggers the production of the IV FEE BILL ($400), when paid triggers the DS230 to be produced.
The $70 bill comes to you, when paid it triggers generation of the I1864 forms/packet.
Basically the bills are so that NVC reviews the forms that come after it. The IV FEE BILL is for the actual visa, but the visa application is the DS230 so you can think of the 400 as a visa appliaction fee.
Shortcuts are the $#!T They are one of the greatest inventions of all time!!!!!!!!!!!
In theory, I think that NVC produces forms / fee bills on Mondays or Tueday's, they then mail to you (that if week 1), then it takes a week to get to you (internal at NVC and USPS) (now you are at week 2), then you mail it back and depeding on when they get and enter it in system (if you are lucky it gets entered before the next Monday, because if it doesn't you need to wait until the next week to have the next part generated (now you are at week4), then they send you teh DS230 and it gets to you a week later (week 6), you fill it out and mail it to them again depending on when they get it you could be at week 8. In total 2 months at NVC. Then two weeks for case completion, that is 10 weeks, 1 week to embassy, 1 week for embassy to schedule interview 2-3 months in advance. Now that means up to 6 months from case number assigned to interview. I am not trying to scare you, but for me the benefits FAR surpass the very small risk! You tell me, are the short cuts worth cutting that in half? Or even by two months? Everyone needs to think about their level of comfort and go with that. During my previous Visa Journey I did the shortcut when they were nowhere near as sophisticated as now and they worked. And by us getting through NVC so quick don't you think we make them look good as they seems to process our cases faster. All they do is scan barcodes and enter information. They don't have time to look at dates and all that to compare...the system states it is waiting for the DS3032 form, I doubt the NVC employee will care when it was generated and mailed...all they see is a barcoded sheet in front of them that is signed. And when scanned, the barcode works and they can enter the choice of agent information. We are making their jobs easier! And So many people have used these same shortcuts and they have worked.

Hello Everyone, I paid the AOS fee bill online without a hitch. Yesterday the IV Application Processing Fee was available online to pay...so I did the same as I did for the AOS. When I log back in under the Invoices, it says NOT PAID...and it allows me to click on the checkbox and attempt to pay it again. If I click on the Receipt at the top of the page, it takes me to a page that show the payment is IN PROCESS. I think I remeber seeing for the AOS fee bill that once it was IN PROCESS I could not click on the checkbox a second time as it was "greyed out". Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Hi had a similar issue with my AOS fee. I paid online. The status changed to 'In Process' when I paid, the next day the status changed to 'Not Paid' and finally the third day, the status changed to 'Paid'. This happens if the fee is paid before it is generated.
LuLu, how did you find out that your IV Bill be generated next Tuesday? Is there a way to find out?
Thanks for in the info KAHM!
Just an educated guess. As long as things are "in the system" at NVC i would say by Thursday night...then next step whether another fee generation or forms being sent out will be done between Monday Night and Tuesday morning. This is what I am expecting at least.
Yoke, this is what I am afraid of...hope it works itself out somehow....we will see.
This happened to me, too. At least for me, the fee had already been generated and everything, so who knows why, it was just a random thing. It eventually straightened itself out.Anyway, there was just a thread on this:

Thanks for your input! :-)

Thanks. I don't think they have generated the bill yet....I think it will be generated on Tuesday next week. UGH!!!
-
Contact AMM and ask them to forward you case to Turkey.

I totally understand your frustrations. Show your husband some the timelines on VJ of those finishing NVC in one month before they even get the initial hard copy mailing from the NVC by mail.

That is great...best wishes

DS-3032 question
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted · Edited by LuLu
Not always...you can do both just to make sure! i haven't even recived my DS3032 from NVC yet. I sent an email but it wasnt' even processed yet...to this day. But I also expressed mailed it (created with James' shortcuts) and it was entered into the system the same day they received it. It depends on if you mailing it form within the US or outside, but these days the hard copy I think is being processed much fast. VJers are reporting 2 weeks for them to put the emailed request into the system.
