Kinda of sad today....

Just found out my 7 yr. old sister-in-law was raped in Jamaica!! I feel so sick just typing it. She's okay physically, but emotionally is another story.

Hate to be a mood crasher....Yea so its pretty stressful at my house dealing with all the phone calls. I feel so helpless. Yall please pray for my family; especially my precious sister-in-law.

So sorry to hear that Shanette, Similar story happened to my husbands 12 year old cousin. The worst part is that it had been going on for years and she didnt talk until he introduced her to one of his friends to take turns with her. I cannot even imagine what these poor children are going through. I cannot think of a punishment severe enough for these animals.

So Steven spends a lot of time sitting outside chatting with the neighbors or grilling or talking on the phone. Basically, he likes to be outside. Me... I'm an indoor person. But last night when he was out there chatting with a neighbor & his wife, after my houseguest went to sleep, I went out there & chatted with them. Steven has expressed his appreciation of that several times so I guess I'll join him on his side more often.

Hey Nat, My daughter is already getting tired of the baby and she is not here yet. Whenever I get baby clothes or anything for the baby she is like, "what did you buy for me" or "the baby has everything". I even felt bad and took her shopping for new clothes.I know I am gonna have my hands full.

Hey Thompson, I am doing great, I was just so tired all the time couldnt keep up with work and VJ Lol. I swear I was more energetic when I was pregnant with my daughter. I guess thats the difference of having babies in your 20's and 30's. Really only 1 more week the dr says that if I dont go into labor on my own by next weekend I will be induced because of some complications with my placenta. Thank you so much, and I will definatly post the baby pics as soon as I return from the hospital.

Hi October filers. Sorry I have been MIA but I have been having pc problems. I got the card production ordered e-mail yesterday for the EAD and the same thing today for the I-485. We havent heard anything about the AP but it doesnt matter we dont need it because the conditional green card is approved. We did not have an interview. We are so excited, good luck to those still waiting and Congratulations to those who have gotten good news.

I need a new computer but that has to be on the back burner for a while because its almost time to set up the nursery (which can be very expensive). I just wanted to see everyones progress and wish you all much success with your journeys. We are still waiting for EAD & AP. Evening Yardies, Sorry I havent been on here much but I hope everyone is doing great. Congrats to all those with good news that I missed. I have some great news too I found out that I am gaving a GIRL!!!. I am so happy, my daughter will have a sister. I have been real tired and been working and sleeping mostly, along with taking care of my 4 year old and my hubby. I feel great though the baby is getting big and moving constantly, even the sonographer said she is a very active baby. I miss you guys and will try to keep in touch.

Has anyone heard from jakeswife about the twins? I think she was due this month.

Great news, they cashed my check today and I got a receipt # on the back of the check, but when I try to input the receipt # on uscis website its not going through it is saying your case number cannot be found.???

I just came back from Wal-Mart.

I know how you feel DaDa before hubby came I used to do it all shop, load up, load out, and put away, so now all I do is pick up the stuff and put it in the cart. He even pushes the cart, its nice. lol

I thought I was the only one that went to Miami and did the 12 hour layovers

I make sure to pack light so I can bring my bag and I take the bus to Southbeach. Go to the little Italian Restaurant with the mist and fans and eat for the buffet lunch 6.95 special.

Yeah, the longest layover I've had there is about 5 1/2 hours but usually it's around 4 hours. Gives me plenty of time to mosey on through so I really kinda like it now. The only hard one was a flight delay when mister came home with me that ended up being 4 hours after our scheduled flight. We just wanted to get home & introduce him to his new home & instead we waited in Miami airport for 8-9 hours. That was rough! Better to be on a safe plane though.

I'll have to get info from you if we go via Miami again on that bus ride to Southbeach...sounds like a nice way to kill the time!

Okay.....now for the rest.

I've been a little mopey cause there hasn't been any activity on our AOS case & it seems everyone else doing this at the same time has had at least some progress. Well, I had moments ago closed out the USCIS case status window & went to check my e-mail for whatever random messages may have come in this afternoon. My heart jumped when I saw two messages from USCIS about our cases. I opened them and...

WE GOT APPROVALS ON HIS EAD & AP TODAY!!! Approval notice sent for AP & card production ordered for EAD!! YAY!!!

(Now to just wait for the AOS itself to have some action! )
