Okkk I have finally picked out my wedding dress along with my 3 daughters dresses. My oldest will be my maid of honor and the two younger ones will be my bridesmaids so I am hoping I post them right. The red one is mine , the silver one is my maid of honors and the black ones is for the bridesmaids. If this works please tell me what you think , thanks hugggs

Very pretty. I'm thinking how your pictures will turn out, and your red should look quite stunning. Have you considered using the same color for both the maid of honor and bridesmaids and differentiating them with an accent (a sash, a different bouquet color or ribbon, same color but different style dress, etc)? It might hold up better in the photos (rather than 3 colors). Sorry, I just had to... that's the designer in me talking. The dresses themselves are very nice.

Ohh Aubrey, I didnt even think of pictures. The silver would look bad wouldnt it. Umm I am trying to think of how I can change the black dress somehow to make it look different for the maid of honor.. any ideas???? I dont know how I would use a sash as the dress is made differently. I would like something red on it of course but not sure how to go about it. I can get the silver one in black also and it is a little different from the other two... what do you think of that? any ideassss will be appreciated. I am in a rut right now so need to keep busy. I will be having red and white roses in my bouquet. I was going to have real ones but now am thinking it would be fun to make my own and that way they will last forever and would give me more to do to stay busy LOL. any ideas on the bouquets would be helpful to. I feel like this is my first wedding when its actually my 3rd eeeks did I just admit that to you all haha. well they say 3rd time is a charm so lets hope ...Thanks for the tip , cause like I said I never even thought of photos... sorry but another question... My mail while I was in England went to my ex husbands.. I had done a change of address to my daughters home but I guess they didnt listen and forwared it to my old addy anyways.. He just phoned me and said that I have a letter there from the United states Justice in Virginia. Does anyone know what this could be? is it part of this process or does it have anything to do with immigration? I know when I returned customs gave me a very hard time for being gone so long and having my 16 year old daughter with me, could it be to do with that?? anyone got any ideas. I wouldnt let him open it as its none of his buisness but now its got me wondering and as you know I worry about everything LOL.. I wont get it from him for a couple of days so thought it was worth a shot to ask someone here.

It didnt work .. I got the reply email that it was deleted and unread , said I have to call a number , so not going to bother as it is to much to pay for that LOL.. I will just go ahead with the original plans and see what happens.

I have sent it , I did put our case number in the subject line so lets hope it goes through. Keith hasnt recieved his packet 3 yet but it was mailed out on the 4th of december. We are going to just send it in anyways as downloaded from the site but I wanted to let them know this so they are aware Keeping my fingers crossed I get a reply... We will see.. I am not sure why they got our interview in before christmas but these are the possibilities:

The Senators office got involved. OR

I sent an email on the reply of submitting the RFE requesting a possible timeline for the interview and told them I wanted to see him on New Years Day and needed to know if I should plan another trip over.

The notice of interview was the embassy's reply to the above question.

I am having such a bad day, it all started with a bad dream in the night. I was all alone and was yelling for Keith but he wouldnt answer me , then it went all dark and I couldnt see anything or anyone. I woke up crying and feeling like is this going to be the outcome of all of this.. Am I going to be all alone. I guess it is just my fears coming out of me right now but I hate it. I have been sad all day and cant pull myself out of it.

I was with Keith for along time and now that we are apart it is driving me crazy. We spent all of our time together and now I get maybe 2 hours a day with him on MSN. ITs not enough , I cant handle this .. I know alot of you have been apart for so long and I dont know how you do it. I miss him so much it hurts. We have only been apart for 2 weeks what will I be like when it turns into months. I feel lost and all alone. I am sorry for this but I had to tell someone how I feel

I lost over 200 pounds almost 10 years ago.

WOW Kim you are amazing. Great Job done and your website is fantastic. I will be looking at it alot on the rest of my journey. I wanted to do a page like that of my journey but I lost most of my pics from back then when my computer got hit by lightning. My daughter does have a few left so if I can find one I will post my before photos. Thanks for sharing this with me. My daughter is doing her weight loss journey on youtube and she wants me to join her on it but I am kindof shy about that stuff still. Maybe when I hit goal I will feel better about me. I just got done talking to Keith and he still hasnt recieved the packet 3, It was mailed from london on the 4th of December. He should have gotten by now.. Even if a little turtle was delivering it , he would have had it by now. He tried to call the embassy last night, he tried 7 times and each time it would take him through all the commands and then say all lines are busy and disconnect him. He figures that cost him at least 10 to 15 quid.. Needless to say he wasnt a happy camper. So I told him to give up for now and wait until today but still not here. So he will try calling on Monday to see if they can resend it or something..

Right now he is saying why cant things go smoothly,, He is really missing me , hehe I like that Plus he is emptying out the flat and moving in with his parents until the visa comes through to work to pay them back the money he owes them plus to save to come home on. I have offered to pay for his ticket but he is so damn stubborn and wont except any money from me. Sooo What I will do when the time comes in just pay for it and then tell him about it after lol.. Xmas is coming and his birthday is in febuary and valentines day and our wedding so I will make it a gift.. haha he cant refuse a gift

anyways , what do you think about this packet 3, do you think it is lost, stuck in a truck somewhere, mailman took it thinking it was something important like money LOL .. which is what keith thinks and if it doesnt come soon do you think they will send another one?

I've read a lot of people just e-mail the embassy with success. Have you tried/considered that?

I was told that you have to have a code to email the embassy and in order to get the code you have to call them? Have you heard this? or is that for something else?

Sooo today was the end of my first week on weight watchers. I went to the meeting early this morning and then came the dreaded scales , well I had hoped to lose at least 2 lbs and to my surprise I lost 6.2 pounds !!!! I never expected that so needless to say I was very happy with this. It gave me the motivation to keep going and I keep telling myself that by the time keith comes home he will be surprised , I have decided that I am not going to let him see me other then my face on cam of course. If I need to get up and move around I will just pause the cam lol he wont notice ... I want to surprise him so this will be fun. Keith loves me for who I am but as I said I am doing this for me and I want him to carry me over the threshold like I see in movies..

I finally got to talk to someone at the visa place. They told me that they mailed the packet 3 to keith on the 4th of December. eeeks he hasnt got it yet. I am concerned now as Keith said he should have had it by now. Anyone else waiting for packet 3 and its taken a long time from the date it was sent? The visa center did give me the number for the embassy so if its not there in todays mail Keith will call tonight to find out whats wrong.

I am sorry for all still waiting for there NOA2s It has to be so hard for you and for the RFES , I pray that things start moving for you all.

I am happy to see so many of you joining me here , yayyy... I get weighed in tomorrow at the weight watchers meeting so then I will post my first weeks lost. I have to keep telling myself its not going to be a large amount like it would have been if I had just started dieting. I will be happy if I have lost 2 more pounds so keeping my fingers crossed.

Weight watchers is a great program and people have used it forever but I have to say I am not loving it LOL. While in England I lost more but as alot of you know there is a lot of walking involved there where as here we jump in the car for everything. Its a long walk to the store here to get my smokes where as in England the shop was right down the road.

Congrats to all that has lost weight and Good luck to the rest of your journeys. I wont make my goal by my wedding but I will get as close to it as I can. I am lucky though that Keith loves me for who I am and size doesnt matter to him what so ever and to be honest when I am in his arms I am small , Keith is 6'4 and I am only 5'2 so he calls me his little short ####### hehe. I am doing this weightloss journey for myself. This is the difference from the past. Before I was doing it for others, thinking if I was skinny people would like me better, If I was skinny I would fit in and you know what it doesnt make a difference. I am the same person on the inside no matter what I way so Now I am doing this to make me feel better about myself and to be healthier. My father died at the age of 46, he had cancer , god I miss him .. well I turned 46 this year and it made me think how young he was to go and how much he missed out on and I am going to live healthier for me and for him.

And oh by the way... I miss chocolate buttons !!! I miss wheatabix !!!! I want to come back to England !!!! hehe

Lets keep track of what and how we are doing.. Weight loss when you weigh in.. even if it is a gain, we can support each other.. If we do good on exercise lets post it and if we are having a bad day and need someone to pull us back up then lets give it .. Weight loss is a hard thing to accomplish but with the help of friends and support from each other we can all make our goals.. Our dreams are coming true with our loves coming home soon so lets make another dream come true and get FIT

I am dieting for my wedding. I have been dieting for over 3 years now and have lost 128 pounds but I still have 40 to lose sooo I thought it might be fun to start up a dieters thread here for all of us girls and guys that are trying to lose weight before our big day. Anyone want to join me on this adventure.

I have done many things over this journey including atkins, low fat and am now on weight watchers for the final lap of it. I figured that atkins helped me to lose the bulk of it , lowfat made me eat alot lol and weight watchers is more of a normal lifestyle.

If anyone wants to join me with this, I will keep updates as I weigh in every week even if its a bad one lol. I believe that support helps alot and if we are all keeping a record of it here it might just keep us on track , I have found the cutest wedding dress and in order to wear it I need to drop some more sooo come on ladies and gents join me

With the paperwork that originally went in for the I129 application, will that be sent to Keith for him to take to the interview or sent back to me or should I say our lawyer? I need to know cause if it goes to the lawyer I need to pick it up to get it to keith for the interview right? This is all doing my head in. Also with the packet 3 , does that go to him from London or from the states as I called on Monday and they told me it was sent out but he hasnt recieved it yet. Does it go regular mail or how does it arrive? If it is sent from London he should have had it by now shouldnt he? sorry for all the questions but just want to make sure we do everything correctly as we are doing the rest of this process on our own as our lawyer is way to slow getting paperwork out. I have followed your posts closely, a lot has happened btw you both and honestly even if you did make mistakes you had sincerely taken steps to right the wrongs, though sometimes its barely enough. I cant begin to think of what she is going through, the pains, the fright, the loneliness the emotions! Gosh its too much! Please do what you can as fast as you can, go get a loan or whatever from anywhere friends or family, she is your wife! Not girlfriend!!

My questions are, if she was not picked up and put in the removal proceedings, honestly ask yourself would she have ever returned to you? Even after all the efforts you have put in to get her back? Do you think she would have walked right back home to you? Say honey i'm home lets start from where we stopped?

Also if you do get the lawyer now and get her out do you think things will ever return back to normal between you both? Do you think she will ever stop blaming you?

Did she call now because she needed your help?

Did she have to stay there that long? Or was she adviced to by those who said they cared for her?

I hope they see where all the love and advice got her? The bus stop 2 states away where she was picked up and put in detention. so if the intent was for her to file for AOS alone..... they helped her mess it all up, and i havent heard you say they went there to take her out or bring her home!

Hey people lets stop judging, he made mistakes but so did she. I also acknowledge the pains of miscarriages and the anger and depression that goes with it especially when being away from what you know, your loved ones and your job, i also know how disappointing it could have been for her not having her AOS filled on time as this would have solved a lot of problems too, but honestly she isnt the first not to have had AOS filled on time.

Just a little more patience, or some private time out on her own and genuine care and concern should have performed miracles, she didnt have to stay out for too long, plus he was working things out, sending his mom away, doing everything possible to bring everything back to the kind of normalcy she wanted!

This whole situation is twisted.... things will never be thesame between the both of you.

I would advice you stand by her, get a lawyer, be there in court, take all the blames and do everything possible to bring her back home. After that have a very long talk with her, if she wants to try again with you, you are a lucky man, if not then let her GO! the earlier you both get things sorted out and over with the better!

This is simply too much drama, too much stiffling emotions and too much influence from outsiders!!

I am very sorry that you both have to go through all these and that hard as you try it never seems to be enough or will never be enough.

Lastly Veejay is a house of refuge for us all, should we have problems we come here and pour them out hoping someone would understand and give us advice there by sharing in our pains.... we dont come here to be judged or criticised or insulted or tried by people who cant see beneath their noses or people who are in a hurry to pass judgment! No offence intended to anyone, just my opinion.... and we should stick with the rules, there are ways to tell someone off without being insulting or annoying!

Am I the only one that bought (or even looked at?) wedding rings?

We bought ours last april as we was suspose to have gotten married in may , long story but most of you already know it. anyways, I have Keiths with me, its silver , wide and thick , its really gorgeous. He is a very big man so its huge lol. Mine is silver also , the engagement ring has a solitaire with diamonds around the band and the wedding ring has diamonds all around the band. When I left England , Keith put my wedding band on as he says in our hearts we are already married so when he comes home he is either bringing another band or we will get one here for the ceremony
