I did a screen shot at my skype history and it works. But during my interview the consul never look at my printed chats, emails, handwritten letters and my skype call history. She just peek some of my pictures and that's it. But I do advise you to print them out, it's better to have many evidences than lacking. Good luck and God bless.
How did you take the shot? Did you use a didtal camera, or one of the functions the Skype has that I do not know of? Thanks so much!
to do a screen shot press ALT+PrtSC (near the scroll lock to the upper right of your keyboard) then press CTRL+C. Go to MS word and press right click in your mouse and select PASTE.

Lucky you! Congratulations!!!
I am waiting for my interview that will be in 2 weeks. Hopefully it will go well as well.

thank u for the info...i have another question...after i call the embassy for interview appointment will they send me letter of appoinment? what else will they send? BTW congratulations!!
in my case, yea they sent me one through mail and they will give you an email confirmation too. You have to print those (the email confirmation) coz they will ask for it during your interview.
how about the application forms (ds-230, 156, 156k)? i knw that ds-157 will be provided by the bank where u pay for visa fee..& for the medical exam do i need to schedule an appoinment or just go directly to st. lukes? should i really go there as early as 4:30? wow!
i don't have a ds 230? the ds 156, 156k and 157 you should have 2 copies and yes the ds 157 will be the one needed for the bank payment. You will pay your visa fee at some designated BPI or CITIBANK, i paid mine at BPI-MEGAMALL. Yes, you should just go to saint lukes as soon as you have your appointment letter either mail or email. Yep, you have to go there early if you want to finish early i went there at around 6:30AM and I was number 200!!!! i finished around 9PM!!! it was monday. I had my medical Oct 6 then they told me to come back Oct 13 since my interview date is still far which was Oct 29.
all of the forms you can download them at us embassy website. YOU will provide the bank the DS 157.

hello! i'm new here...i would like to ask for some advice...i received letter from embassy last oct 23 that i'm eligible to be scheduled for visa interview...but i havent called yet for appointment coz my fiance has not prepared the 1-134 & ITR yet...will that be ok? i dont want to call when i dont have this documents yet...hope somebody can help me...thanks!
well you can schedule your visa interview ahead of time. Like my case, I scheduled it when my fiance didn't have his affidavit of support. We scheduled it 4 weeks ahead. No problem if you still don't have those those are not hard to get because their papers are all online. He can easily get those online.

thank you guys... this website is really helpful to me. Don't worry i'll keep on updating or posting whatever i will or have experienced during this journey. Good luck to all of us

I'm done with my interview today and it's approved! finally! i felt like I'm gonna have a heart attack waiting for my number to be called! I was there at 6am my schedule is at 7am and I finished at 10:30am. It was very fast, i must say. Now, I'm just waiting for it to be delivered...
Here are the things that I experienced.
present your appointment letter and ID to the guard at the gate, then go to gate 2 turn right.
make sure there's no errors in your ds forms, make sure you signed the ds 156 where it says.. "i intend to marry(name of your fiance)" then your signature below. Don't sign the one below that. Also there's one in ds 156k.
always look at the screen for your number to be called.
then they will call you either window 37 or 33 for finger scanning. (listen carefully coz their mics are crappy!)
at the pre-screening, give your nbi, birth certificate, cenomar (all should be nso authenticated), affidavit of support, some evidences (i got like tons but they only ask me 10 pictures and some chat and email logs).
pre-screening questions:
who is your petitioner?
when did you first meet? exact date
how and where did you first meet in person?
when was the last time you saw him?
then she said "ok wait for your number to be called again for your final interview"
Waiting for my final interview really made me nervous.. then after like 20mins my number is called again.
final interview questions:
who is your petitioner?
how old is he?
how, when and where did you meet?
whats his job?
has he been married before? how many times?
does he have any children?
where does the child stay?
how often did he visit you?
do you know his parents?
have you met his parents?
has he met your parents?
does he have any brothers/sisters?
how many times hes been divorced?
was he divorced when you met him?
do you know his previous job?
was he in the army before?
so last week was your birthday... did he send you any gifts?
do you mind if i take a look at your pictures?
then he signed something and stamped on my papers and said "ok mam your visa is approved, good luck"
I couldn't believe it

thank you! by the way.. i just took our ym voicechat screenshots. I hope I'm all set

hello everybody! I'm really getting nervous and have been having sleepless nights because my interview date is coming! Finally after the long wait.. It's all coming now. I'm done with my medical and they have my passport and already paid Delbros one month before my interview.

hello to everybody here on visajourney! Please enlighten me about how the delbros document verification works. I paid mine last Sep 29, 2008 which is one month before my interview.. I paid them even though i havent had my interview scheduled and just texted them about my payment on Oct 3, 2008 after scheduling my interview.
But im not sure how they work. Just recently, I texted them to ask the status and the reply was "we already confirmed your payment for doc. verification on Oct 3, 2008 we are still waiting for your verification form to be forwarded by the embassy, Thanks" So does it mean the embassy here will forward them some kind of my papers and they will verify it then it will be forwarded back to the embassy? what is the NSO role on those?
I also heard that document verification is a delay too for those who are waiting for their visas.
Thank you!

hello everyone! I just want to ask if I can do the CFO before my interview? Isn't PDOS and CFO the same? Please enlighten me because I'm confused about the two. Thanks!
-
i just don't understand the logic of people who are not giving any stamps or whatever they stamp on somebody else's passport just because they think.. everything happened so fast and yet she already has a visa? wow... surprising. Don't they trust the US embassy judgment? wow wow wow... I cant believe that at all. -sigh-

thanks spartan.. i had my medical yesterday and it was like a jungle there. There was a lot of people and not enough staff to accommodate us. I got there around 6:30AM and i got out at 9PM. They didn't ask for anything about my surgery, though i told them about it. I'll have to come back on monday for my results. I hope there's no jungle on Monday!
-
oh i see thanks envy me... i'll just bring the receipts and all the evidence that i did the surgery. My fiance told me that getting a medical certificate from my cardiologist is not necessary since USEM does not accept any other results other than Saint Lukes and that the purpose that I'm going there is because they need to examine me if I'm fit to travel.
-
hi I just want to ask if they are gonna get my passport during my medical? Are they the ones gonna forward it to the embassy during my interview? Because it says on the requirement that I have to bring my passport during the interview. Also I have a open heart surgery last 2007 atrial septal defect, would that make a problem? or should i just bring all the evidence that I did the surgery?
Just curious
Thank you.
-
thanks pushbrk.. i'll try going to the bank again if they are willing to do that on Monday, if they are not.. then i might just get a new copy just like you said or just whiten it out.... not sure what procedure i will do, I'll think about it.
Thanks for enlightening me.
-
thanks Minya's wife.. was just worried coz they validated the payment at the back of one of my ds 157 forms. I think i'll just prepare a corrected ds 157 then, just in case.
Too much coffee

I'm just worried coz i know they are strict in terms of spellings.... but i dont want to have to pay the visa application fee again just because it was printed on ds 157 with doubled letters.
Thank you so much!
-
but i don't need to pay the visa application fee again? coz they printed it on one of the ds 157 forms.
-
-sigh- i went to the bank today to pay the visa application fee of $131 and it was validated on one of my ds 157 forms. Then I just noticed it when i got home that there's a doubled letter on my fiance's last name... his last name is Boutell and i accidentally put Boutelll ... 3 L's. Maybe my hands were shaky or the keyboard was too sensitive... I don't know. Would that be a problem? What should i do about this? Should i just erase this or i need to pay the visa application fee again?
Thank you so much... I'm worried.

yes YOU WILL give the bank the copy of DS 157. They are not gonna provide you any papers. You can easily download those forms at USEM website Good luck!
