Ya'll get ready...we're next in line I saw about 3-4 ppl got approved after they transfered their case to CSC. They have transfered all the 2007 applications to california and now Vermont will be working on Jan-Feb filers as soon as tomorrow. Cheer up everyone, now its our turn (about darn time)
I hope so - looking at your timeline I think we are in the same box along with a couple of other with no touches since 2/34 -hope they open that box TOMORROW!!!!
How are ya? Havnt seen any post from u in few days....we r next in line get ready

All californians from VSC are gettin approvals fast guys...so far 6 files approved since their case was transfered to CSC. This is awesome.....we are next! I m working on all my NVC papers now, starting to prepare I-864 and telling my spouse to prepare DS-230 and DS-3032 forms....i suggest all Jan/Feb filers should start gathering all the impt. documents to speed up NVC process. Good luck to all and hope to hear good news soon

Approvals are coming..........................soon

Pattu Rani...we are next, all 2007 files are in california so next in line is jan-feb files at vermont...either they'll start workin on those files or get transfered to california...its win-win for us Look at all transfered files, in 1 week 5 ppl got approved..yey! (I dont know why but i am very positive this time)

my friends i130 application was transfered to california today as well...i think he mailed his application in nov 2007 and got his noa1 in Jan 2008. I am sorry but i don't know the dates top of my head but this is exciting time....i filed my in jan 2008 and got noa1 in feb 11th 2008...so i guess now vermont will start working on our files....i guess the goal here is to make sure both centers are working on same dates...hopfully vermont will start processing files on time.
i wish all of you a good luck and i am sure all of you will get your approval by end of this month for sure. You guys have made it
Like I said...ya'll get ur approval by end of this month!! I am hopin all the Jan-Feb 2008 filers will get their approvals soon Congratulations to all who got approved.

Gaurav patel's case was approved today....ya'll next please update the spreadsheet when you get a chance. Thanks!

I am surprised to see some cases that have been at VSC since January still there. Wern't they supposed to have transferred all applications until January to CSC. I am confused.
There is a spreadsheet and it looks like they have only transfed those files been sittin at vermont since sept, oct, nov, dec 2007. I don't see anyone who filed in jan or feb got transfered to california. I hope this is the good thing for those ppl have been waitin since almost a year now and hopefully this will give all 2008 a faster process. Both centers are trying to work on same date because lots of ppl in california who filed in March 2008 getting approvals n ppl at vermont are getting pissed off (rightly so) bez they applications are stuck since late 2007.
Hopefully we'll see some date improvements on 8/15 when they update the website....goal here is to have both center working on same timeline...i am hopeful that we'll get approval soon. We are almost there..jus hang in there I wish everyone good luck.

VSC is tranfering old files to california..hopefully things will get up to speed soon. Only thing we have is hope that soon we'll hear lots of good news from everyone. I am really happy for those people who got transfered to california because they have been waiting for almost a year now. Good luck to everyone.

I filled in Jan and got NOA1 in Feb..Lat touch 2/24 ---- nothing after that..honestly, i have a feeling that we'll start seeing our approvals by end of this month...they are really trying to work it out by sendin old applications to California so i guess we'll hear from them soon...may be all 129f and 130 got transfer to california and NVC will only work on i-130 filers ? who knows....may be we'll see some progress soon guys...hang in there and we all soon hear good news

How is your case went to California if you were in Vermont? I am confused, whats going on with USCIS guys? I just stop checking this forum for 1 week n world has changed. can some one please advise? Thanks
-
its seems they are going by date you sent your I-130 to process ur visa (that's a good thing) rather your NOA1 date. (I am saying this from a recent case of richard&ayda)
Cheer up everyone
-
Hang on tight guys...things are moving at VSC. I just read a post from Richard & Ayda. They just got their I-130 approved. They got their NOA1 in Jan 2008 (though they filled back in 09/28/2007) so it seems like VSC is working on last batch of September 2007 files right now. If you sent your file in December then ur turn is coming up very soon. Just hang few more days
-
Congratulations guys. This is a great news for all of us. Now it seems that VSC is on track and working on I-130s in order! I looked at your timeline and you filed back in 09/2007 so its seems like USCIS website info is upto date so far.
Great news for all of us. Hang on tight, things moving on right direction
Don't forget to follow Loto's guide for your next steps.

I read somewhere in this forum that ppl called USCIS to inquire about thier I-130 n saw their file start moving faster n eventully got I-130 approved! Is it true? I never bothered callin USCIS so I just wanne to know if it jus a myth or lotta ppl out here had experienced it?
Also, I read somewhere here where ppl made mistake in their I-130 n then got letter from USCIS to correct their mistake after correcting the error got I-130 approved quickly? I remeba reading someone got their I-130 approved who filed in March?? Man! I don't if that's true then I'm just out of luck here..lol
Please advise.
Thannks!

Seems like some december NOA1s got their I-130 approved just now...without any expedite handling....is there a way we can tell on this spreadsheet that who is going through a NORMAL process time and who is going through HELP (Expedite)?
It is very hard to figure out what month they are working on currently...some ppl from Sep, Oct, Dec...they all are getting I-130 approved at the same time???
Confused...explain
Thanks!

All feb filers are waiting so ur not the only one. I am sure ppl will update FEB thread when someone will hear any good news. I can totally relate to you as I also got my NOA1 in Feb and I also feel like I am waiting forever. Infact, I am waitingforever...lol
I think all JAN/FEB filers will start hearing from VSC in next 1 month or so
-
Hi all feb filers...anyone got any news from VSC? I am seeing some ppl getting their files moved and getting I130 approved...it seems like VSC is moving...finally date is updated to Sept 2007 from July.
Hope all of keep updating this thread.
Thanks!

I think it would depend on the country you are applying for I see so many people for same country got approvel within 90 day or less.you said in other post that you saw some ppl from Dec/Jan got their I-130 approved? where can i find that info? that's a great news as i applied in Feb.
Thanks
I have send you message with all the details. Rmusic

I seen ppl getting SS# as soon as 7 days after arriving in US and Green card as soon as 30 days after arrival. Most employers requires 3 forms of ID (usually SS, Driver Lic and Green card copy) so my guess is as soon as you get ur Green card number or welcome notice in mail you can show that to employer if you have a job n start working. I hope this helps.
