Sorry guys about my previous post...I am bit frusrated at this point because being an Indian and living in india for many years I just get so angry and frusrated with this entire system.

I am sorry if I have said anything to offend anyone. I certainly didn't mean to do that at all. I just hope my wife gets her medical reports before her interview date.

My wife is still running around for her Medical. They are giving her hard time (ofcourse, its India where they just want to make money without thinking about anyone's emotions)

So now she is going again today to pay more money to do the other test but check this out: They can use the same blood sample to do this diffrent type of test. JUST PAY ME!

I am telling you guys in India, they are bunch of bastards who are just ready to suck your blood, by any means!!

My wife is crying since last 2 days because they are just making her run around and now telling her anything just wants more money (So far she has paid them over 5,000 Rs. = $100...she is so sick of this corrupted system and wants this to end asap....I just feel so bad for her because she works for airline and they do her medical tests every year so she has all her recent tests and they are just giving her grief because they want more bucks! SICK!

just dont go for interview, say that ur sick and not feeling well.

Dolma...Plz send appointment letter becuase my wife in India didn't get her letter either and yes, he will need the letter for medical, though my wife went to mumbai embassy and got a letter from them as well. Try to get things to him as soon as you can

Should I send a copy of the appointment letter along with my proof stuff? Govi hasn't received it yet and knowing Nepal's mail system, if it was sent by regular USPS 1st Class mail he won't get it and he needs to go for his medical. I am hoping to get the package mailed out by Friday.

Nice to see everyone back in forum...I will keep you guys posted as my wife's medical is still on going...she went to local hospital in mumbai for her medical and now they want her to go back today to do some more testing. (They want to make more money ofcourse before she takes off)...Interview date is on 5th...she got a letter from embassy (FINALLY!!!) yesterday.

Dolma, send as much as pictures and wedding invitation cards, phone bills, emails and whatever else you can provide (like joint account or you send him money to KM via western union statement).

I was just tracking my package and it looks like bombay will get my package today. I have scaned the appointment letter and emailed it to my wife since she still hasn't received her appointment letter from NVC. I told her to go take the appointment for medical since in India she has to get it done before 7 days.

I am glad to see everyone's files and case moving up and we all are almost done

I hope they accept the copies I sent for my spouse's medical exams....I will keep you guys posted as we progress.

hi dolma, shasha...everyone! I just have to tell u that i called yesterday to NVC and they told me that my they have assigned interview date for my wife on march 5th....what a shocker!! she needs to do her medical 7 days befo and there is no appointment letter from NVC...I am not sure what is going on with NVC....this is crazy anways...we got appointment so i am happy...let's hope all goes well with interview....ya'll jus hang in there as we all have been for long long time....i jus want this to end, SOON!

i remember reading it somewhere...dna testin was done n results were in 5 business days in india...so it shouldnt take that long at all...good luck

thanks everyone for ur reply...can some one explain me what is packet 3 and packet 4 info? I have submited everything from here on behalf of my spouse so what is there to take during the interview?

I hope things going well for you and govi...i m so tired of this process and can't wait til get outta this immigration mess...nways thanks for ur reply, it seems like then i should be calling them next month cuz if u were done last month and still havnt got ur date then i am about 1 month behind u...let's hope it not another 6 months for me...lol

Appointments are set by the second week of the month for the following month. So March appointments will be set by the end of this week - I am going to call NVC then.

Our case was just completed on feb 4th. I want to get some recent interviewers experience in india. (My wife will be going for her interveiw in mumbai) so if anyone can share their experience and list of things I should give her from here.

Can someone tell me when will i find out about the interview date and how ? I checked the AVS and it says my case was completed on Feb 4th. So how do I know about interview date?

I have been out of this forum for a while now cuz I had no news to share with you guys until today. I just heard the NVC recording and finally it says that my case is complete.

For those who know me knows what happan...all other ppl who don't know let me tell you that in INDIA you need 2 police CC. I was stuck with Passport police CC...anways, we got everything sorted and finally got all the paperwork in and now it says case is complete.

Now the fun part begins....let's hope my spouse gets interview date -- hopefully in APRIL cuz the way INDIA works trust be I will be luck to get interview date in 2 months...anways I will keep you guys posted

Shasha and Dolma...nice to hear from both of you. I am so happy for you Dolma and glad your surgrey went well and everything is fine. I am still stuck even NVC got all my papers they are saying they don't have my PCC. I sent them all originals and copies as well...they told me to wait 15 days. So I am just having really ####### time but I am guess it'll only happan when its time. I am glad slowly everyone is out of NVC (after 3 months still some of us here).

Hi Everyone...I have been out of this forum for a while but I sent out all my paper work including both PCC but I checked AVC and it says they are some missing info and I talked to opt. n she said they are missing PCC. I am so pissed off and mad cuz I have been waiting for this PCC for 2 months and I sent them both original and copies of Police Clearance Certificates and now they are telling me that I didn't send. Anways, she said she'll have supervisor open my case to check for PCC and that can take 2 freking WEEKS! I really feel like this visa journey is never going to END!

How's Shasha and Dolma doing?? It seems like everyone from SEPT is done with NVC and getting interviews....I am soooo behind with this stupid never ending paper work.

i have been out of this forum for while but just wanted to update my status. I just sent out DS-230 n related docs. I was waitng for my spouse's PCC from Passport office (it took us 8 weeks to get it) Let's hope she'll get her interview soon.

kman...i didnt know bout Passport PCC till 3 weeks ago...so now its taking longer...I hope I get it befo Nov 5th like rmusic said....i didnt wanne to send all my paperwork without passport pcc...so i'll jus wait until i get passport pcc....its coming from mumbai, india.

I am still waiting for PCC from Passport office. Everything is ready but not mailing until I get PCC. It'll be another 2 weeks or so I guess.

Hi All, I have been out of this forums since last few days...I am just stuck waiting for PCC for my wife. I have all doc's ready to go except PCC. I have sent everything else except Packet 4 (IV)....my signature is up to date for more info. Wishing everyone good luck as Diwali is coming up soon

Hello everyone...I am waiting for passport office PCC for my wife....that's it! All other docs are ready to go! PCC sucks........i dont know why they need two PCC from india...its virtually same thing!

My advise for Indians: If your spouses passport is more than 6 months old...apply today for passsport PCC! it takes time to get it unless u know someone.

Update: All my paper work is ready & all fees paid. I am just waiting for 2 PCC from my wife. I can't mail anything until PCC arrives.

Congrats...happy to hear that you're out of NVC and ready for interview. I am pretty sure you'll get NOV interview. I have read somewhere that they ususally post new interview PDF file on mumbai emabassy every 15th...for next month dates. so keep checking mumbai embassy webiste for interview date file.
