  1. Good to see there are some approvals in our month.

The waiting is weighing a ton at the moment ...:whistle::unsure::blink: I told Greg that I wanted to go into hibernation 'till we get our approval ... he told me I had way too much stuff to take care off to do that. And he's right! :star: Have a great day may-filers, heads up and tons of positive vibes ...

  2. Good to see more approvals ... :) Keeps me positive and smiling, though I can't deny that the waiting is driving me mad.

Just out of curiousity ... where's Igor's legendary list? lol

Good luck and fast approvals to everyone! :star:

Here you go: Igor's List - VCS

Thank you very much! Looks like we still have a couple of people ahead of us

I try to stay as zen as possible, and I must say it goes surprisingly well this time. Times before, when we actually had a date to look forward to when we were going to see eachother again, it seemed much harder being apart. Now we know that at the end of this journey we'll be together and we don't have to go through hello's and goodbye's anymore ... That's what makes me smile :star: But of course there are some days when it's harder and a couple of tears are being shed. Just keep hanging in there VJ-ers, look forward ... Only a couple of months from now will be wonderful, and us May-filers are probably halfway our journey already. Good luck to everyone and a NOA2 sooner, rather than later!

Does anybody know if there's a good thread on the board about taking personal belongings with you when you move permanently to the US? What the cheapest way is to ship your stuff? Which the cheapest company is? Thanks!

w_w, sorry to hear about Lara ... I know it's frustrating!

  3. Hello! My name is Sandra, I'm 32 and live in Belgium.

About 16 months ago I fell in love with Greg. We've met on a music forum and had a fabulous first date, 10 days in England together, in June 2007. I went to visit Greg in NY, Syracuse in August 07, November 07. In February 08 he visited my country and after that we flew to the US together for a visit of almost 3 months. We officially got engaged May 3rd and filed the paperwork for the K1-fiancee visum to get married in the US. We got our receipt with our number, dated May 16th. This is our story in a nutshell. I signed up here because I'm curious how others go through the waiting-process and also because I have numberous questions of course ... And this seems like a good place to start looking. :star:
