  1. Still waiting for NOA2 from CSC K-1 I-129F within the CSC processing time (2008-02-01):

    3 sengmany & manny 2008-02-03 2008-02-05 2008-06-22

this is who's no 3 on the list...BUT on their personal statement says: On June 30, 2008, I received an email from the USCIS. MyI-129F has approved. I takes four months and 28 days to get the NOA2. Finally!!!!!!! It takes 3 weeks from NOA2 to the US Consulate. Her interview date is Sept. 26, 2008. She will be here on the 3rd of Oct.

So, how many more like this are there on Igor's list ??????/ Guys, please think about the others, who take Igor's list as a useful tool!!

  2. Under "What to send to your fiancee once the NOA2 is received" number 2 says "Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy." We are assuming that this includes the Naturalization Certificate sent to CSC as proof of citizenship.

For the interview, do I have to have the ORIGINAL Certificate, a notarized copy, or what?

  3. Well, I applied for a Change of Status, and the negative answer to that came 4 months after my visa expired. As far as I know, the fact that I had applied with USCIS for another visa would legally cover those 4 months.

The problem is, actually, that I overstayed a little bit less than 6 months after I got my negative answer. So, considering that I have less than 6 months overstayed, do you think I will still have to go through all that waiver thing?

    Thanks a lot !

  4. Initially, I had an H2B visa, then I aplied for a F1 visa. USCIS asked for further evidence, which I provided, but in the meantime my visa expired, and 4 months after my visa expired I got a negative answer regarding change of visa. Since I was broke, I had to stay some more there to pay some debts, etc.etc, buy plane tickets, so the total of my overstay is 9 months. What can happen to me?

Do you think they will deny my K1 visa?

  5. hey everybody! I am totally new to everything that is going on, we are just preparing the folder to apply. As I am filling out the paperwork, I see that on the Letter of Intent example (found on this site, under guides) this text shows up: (petitioner’s / beneficiary’s address) Who's that?

Thank you for your support, and just wanna let ya guys know, you'll be hearing from me very often.
