  1. I just got off the phone with a nice lady at NVC and I asked if she could give me any further information about my case - she said all the paperwork is in and 'case almost complete' - I asked, 'does that mean no more RFEs?' and she said yes, so please I hope that means I will get the good news soon - hopefully the file is just waiting in a pile for a stamp.....

    GO NVC GO!!!

Woohoo, looks like you are almost there.:dance:

  2. You are right Onekea but it's just not worth it for me to go home. I still feel like i don't need to be there. Now and then i worry but then i think about the whole picture and think not. Makes no sense for me to go home now. I will just wait here.

I apologize...I thought that I read that you had decided to go. I wish you all the best!

I keep flip-flopping. One moment i say i will go and then the next, i change my mind.

Thats understandable...this whole process has my stomache in knots. NVC is going so fast....I'm getting nervous over here

yep, NVC moves very fast. They are certainly not like USCIS.

  4. Hmm. So, they did not look at any evidence at all? If they are just going to do a bunch of questions then i think it best for me to be there. Geeze. Now i am afraid to go to Guyana with the whole Leptosperosis thing going around.

The rain down there is just too much. I am on standby for the second interview...because I am on my way there again...I don't have a baby my first and my last is 16 :dance: and my mom stay with him while I am come...I don't think he will ever go to Guyana again I took him there in 2007 and he stayed 3 days and I had to send him back up

I see me and this keyboard is not agreeing.

Oh, so they still do a second joint interview after the first one. I though they only do one.

  5. Good Morning Folks,

Okay, i recieved my copy of my husband's interview letter on Saturday and then it all became real to me. This sent me into shock then into a total cleaning spree. I started cleaning my closet only to realize that i still have a lot to do. Now i have to get a whole new bed, change the color scheme in my room. Geeze, all of this in one month.

I am so very happy for you :dance::dance: I can understand your feeling when I am in shock I bake. For love we are capable of doing anything and you will be finished because that adrenaline will keep you going. I know you can't wait for your husband to arrive and do wish you all the best.

    LOL. Thanks.

Have you heard anything from the embassy yet? Try calling them.
