Has anyone else had any luck using the Online Case Status via USCIS? I have been trying it on and off since I got my NOA letter and so far it keeps telling me my case cannot be found, just wondered if this is a common issue or if it just takes forever to get updated.
hi KirstyVQT! the NOA1 case number doesn't work. The one that will work is with the BIOMETRICS letter. I don't get it but whatever floats their boat!

DO_CSC, oct 7 was the notice date. Don't lose hope! It will come. At least you're not going out of the country any time soon

We did a walk-in to the Van Nuys ASC and they let us in without any problems!! So, he's all done.. I'm so relieved! We were in and out in 10 minutes..

WE GOT THE FREAKIN APPOINTMENT LETTER TODAY!!!!! oh my gosh!!!! but of course it is on the day when we are out of the country, like i feared. BUT WE GOT IT!!! He's scheduled for 11/04/10 at 02:00 PM. Now I am scrambling to find an ASC that will take early walk-ins. any ideas any one?

I called them today. They opened a Service Request to send me an appointment letter. But the rep also said some offices are busy so there may not be any appointments available. That's why the letter may not have been sent. She also said that they will respond to the Service Request within 30 days !!
I knew it would be useless to call.at least they did SOMETHING. i called and she basically told me that I JUST HAVE TO WAIT and that there is nothing she can do. What totally irritated me was the SLOW MONOTONE DRAWL.. ughrrgh!!!! I kept asking if she can at least put in a request or SOMETHING because we will be going out of the country next week on vacation.. but alas, she has no idea on what to do.. she's reading a script, of course. the least she could have done was liven up her tone or something. make it sound like she's talking normally and not reading. just venting.
if we ever get that biometrics letter, i'm afraid we won't know about it until we get back. wonderful. now i'm mad.

Hey thirdsjen....have you received your biometeric notice yet? I haven't received mine yet. Don't know whats going on. Its going to be a month. Maybe i should make an infopass appointment.

my husband hasn't received it yet either. i just checked the mail. gosh! i'm getting worried. Oct 22 is fast approaching. i better get it before we leave so we can rush to a service center and do an early bio or else we are screwed.
We also still did't get our letter for biometrics.
According to August time lines some guys wait for 30-35 days after they NOA1.
1 month is the minimum. Check time lines from August and June.
yeah.. August doesn't seem to be moving either..

Well i took my Bio letter along with Green card and I.D. I walked to Security Officer she stamped my letter and told me to filla form and go in. There were hardly 3 to 5 people waiting. I guess they didnt even care. Good Luck with ur Bio letter.
hi adonis1! i found a Gardena CSC field office that is quite far from us but it lets walk-in early bio appointments without no problems. as soon as we get the bio appt letter we will probably head on over there. haven't checked today's mail yet. i see other CSC applicants getting their bio letters ahead of us is kinda discouraging.. oh well...

This is my first time adding to VisaJourney even though I have used it for the whole immigaration process.
Just wanted to post that we received a biometrics date of 10/15. We are from Minnesota and our file was sent to CSC. Our dates were
I-751 - Sept. 8
NOA Date - Sept. 10
Biometrics - Oct. 15
Thought this would be helpful since only 1 from CSC has posted a Biometrics Date yet.

LA district office probably is one of the busiest, so I will expect my husband's biometrics to be next year. hehehe.. HOPE NOT! we are going out of the country next month and will be back before his GC expires on Nov 30. No worries about the GC but I'm worried about the appointment if we do get one. Hope he gets it before we leave -

so, the check was finally cashed Sept 13. It had that WAC number on there. That's not the case number, is it? I tried it of course, and of course it doesn't work. Just a little too impatient, I guess. I just want my husband to get the biometrics letter before we go on vacation, that's all. We are cutting it a little too close.
