  1. Thank you for sharing! Gosh, it sounds like a fuss. Yeah I remember reading from your other post saying that it's mostly doing this for your kids who'd miss their old toys otherwise, I think you're doing the right thing, I still feel the heartache when my mom decided to give away my toys...I'll learn from your experience and try to get rid of things that we can buy cheaper after moving. Thank you again!
  2. April 8th filer here! Thank you for creating the thread
  3. Tbh every European airport I've been to is the same, so I'm already used to it but yes, ugh. Ah, customs papers need to be sent to the movers? Have you perhaps considered sharing this part of the experience please pelease... (or maybe you have already shared, and in that case could you point me in the right direction please please...) Congratulations again!!!! I can't help imagining how happy I would be the day I am able to say this. I mean my fiancé and I live together in Sweden now but, it's Merrica! A dreamland so tempting for me as a student...I'm so excited for you!!! Wishing your lovely family all the best again!!!
  4. Thank you for sharing! Good luck and excited to hear more about your next step in Sweden 😍
  5. Stockholm does not do the medical exam for K1 visas now, Gbg is 6125:- excluding the X-ray (7125 - 8500 SEK in total depending on the age). Copenhagen is 4425 DKK/6599 SEK with the X-ray, and Oslo is 6600 NOK/6204 SEK. I live in Uppsala, distances to these three cities are basically the same to me, guess I'll choose between Cphg and Oslo depending on the plane ticket prices? Gbg is waaaaaaaay too overpriced now☹️.
  6. Yeepee!!! Bye bye toys and hi hi visa 🙌
  7. Thank you so much for sharing every step of this painfully exciting (to me it's just painfully painful for now) journey with so many lively details! I enjoyed reading every word in this thread, knowing your agony along the way calmed me down quickly (why, why is the I-129f review so slow nowadays UGHHH), I guess I'll come back a lot of times... I am studying in Sweden and planning to do the medical check in Norway (they're the cheapest compared to Gothenburg and Copenhagen), your information is just priceless to me. I am so, so happy for you to have finally reached the destination (kinda, read this again next Tuesday), so you can start working towards another destination soon 🤪 Please keep sharing! Congratulations again and I wish your little lovely family all the best in the future.
  8. Thank you so much for sharing your experience! As someone who’s been battling latrophobia, I’ve spent countless hours researching medical exams to prepare myself (even though I only received my NOA 1 less than a month ago—haha). Reading about your journey has been incredibly reassuring. I actually created this account just to say thank you! 😊
  9. Sorry...I have no idea why the reply was sent repeatedly :( Anyway, good luck with the process and I hope you can meet your loved one very soon and have an amazing life in America!
