Wow - I am SO sorry to hear that! I don't understand this process, why it can go so smoothly for so many people and then so slowly and neverending for others.

I have been waiting almost 7 months now and nothing. I have called everybody. Somehow some of us fall into a black hole somewhere and have a hard time getting out. I can only think it's God's will for whatever reason. Although thats not very comforting!

I am hoping and praying for ANY of US on this thread to get an approval! We are all in the same boat here and its pitch black! Seeing Jess getting approved is like having one tiny star's worth of light shining down on us. Now lets see something happen for Sara!

I think I talked to that "Officer" before too, very nice and sympathetic but in the end did nothing for me and had NO information. I think it was just another Customer Service rep. I think they were playing GoodCop/Bad Cop Because the customer service chick was a total ######.

As far as the depressive hole, I've been there. Many times. Its seems like their are good days and bad.
I'm going to Sweden for a week on Wednesday to visit my fiance. The CSC can't keep me from visiting him.
Thats about the only thing I have any control over at this point.

Who knows! I'm just happy to have this thread and know I am not the only one waiting! I guess Misery Loves Company! Even though I hope everyone gets their Visa's ASAP!!!! It's nice to have the support of everyone else thats in the same situation.

Yeah - I'm starting to wonder about my Lawyer as well! They do this EVERY DAY as a PROFESSIONAL!!!! WHy can't they do anything????
I mean - I personally am ready to stake out CSC workers and try to BRIBE them to do my file!
Shouldn't the lawyers have some of these guys in their back pockets???
Sorry - I guess that my Chicago coming out. Everything here is done Mafia style.
But really - Its like the lawyers coming to me at work (Intensive care) all sick and me saying - Sorry - I don't know how to help you. Maybe you can figure it out yourself!
Again sorry - but I need to vent also!

Wow! I didn't realize that. My Congressman has a person in his office dedicated to immigration. I have never dealt with a congressman or a senator so I had no idea.
I just hope and pray it helped. And I think everyone here is praying for you Sara, your story is the saddest.

Why, Why. WHY??? Is this happening to us????
None of it make any sense.
I can't see a common thread amoung us to say why we are so far behind everyone else.
I got a touch Friday, Monday and Wednesday after my Congressman talked to them last thursday, so that may have helped.
I just wish that we had some sort of voice, some control over this horrible situation.
God Bless all of you, Your love will probably end up stronger because of all this.

Well - from waiting for 6+ months now I have learned a few things.
1) Being apart gets easier as time goes on, It still sucks bad but at least you are not used to being with each other.
2) If you visit each other you will be extremely depressed afterwards.
3) Don't look at what is happening with everyone elses Visa's. It only makes you mad and depressed.
4) Don't plan on being one of the early ones approved. "It won't happen to me" thinking. It can and it sucks even worse when you were planning on being an early one.

The only thing that has kept me from moving to Sweden is I don't want to uproot my 2 boys.
If it weren't for them I would have been living there 6 months ago!!!

Well I just got a "touch" on Friday - my 1st one since 5/13. Its probably just cause my congressman emailed them but I am still crossing my fingers.

Funny thing is my NOA2 is from April23rd. I bet our files are stuck together somewhere behind someone's desk.

I Just had my Congressman inquire and they told her that it was in "security clearance" And #1 Congressman need not bother them its not allowed and #2 don't try to Expedite, Cause its not allowed Either!!!!
The CSC has thought of EVERYTHING!!!!!
Now I see why so many people do this illegally!!!!
