    SARA!!!!!!!! This is the BEST news I have ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I thought this day would never happen and you would have to move to India!

    I just can't believe it! Its so wonderful!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you guys!!!!

    I'm sure you guys will have a long and happy marriage after all you have been through!!!!!

    Hi Everyone, just checking in. Sara I can't believe they told you to wait 180 days! This is insanity!

    Well my Fiance has been home for a month now and I want you all to know it was sooooooo worth the wait!

    It is so nice to have him here every day. Even if I only see him for an hour some days (I work 13 hour shifts 3 days a week) I am so grateful. And our relationship is so much stronger now that we invested 15 months apart waiting for each other. After everything we have been through together I know our bond will never be broken. So everyone just try to stay busy and know you will someday get your reward for making it through this horrible process.

    Oh and get packet 3 ready now. I didn't and it was very stressful to try and rush all the paperwork you need across the ocean. My paperwork got lost (even though I paid $30 extra to send it registered mail) and then I had to rush and try to get everything AGAIN! So I could resend it in time for the interview! Make a copy of EVERYTHING you send in packet 3. Also send it DHL. They got my papers to stockholm in 36 hours and it didn't get lost!

    Sara - I am SOOOOO sorry! Did they say WHY he was denied? Or who gets approved?? I can't understand why someone is not even allowed to come for a VISIT!!! This is CRAZY! I agree that you should just file a new petition and pretend the 1st one didn't exist. It would be crazy if it just flew right through! And I doubt they would even notice! They seem soo un-organized over there!

    Greger got his ticket and he will be here on TUESDAY!!!!!! TUESDAY!!!!!

    I still can't believe it! After all the things that we have been through I don't think I will really believe it until I see and touch him at the airport! I have had so much energy since he got approved. I have been doing all these landscaping projects that I have been putting off for AGES! Its like I'm "nesting" for my babys arrival!

    Sara - Of COURSE we will all pray for Perviz to get the Visitor Visa. I still can't believe your case is still pending, doesn't make any sense. If they have a problem why don't they just DENY it???? Must be because there is no problem!

    PB&JAM - don't give up!!! If the appeal doesn't work I think you should move there. Better to be together and poor!

    Or could you both move to a Mexican border town and you could commute to S. California? I was thinking if we got denied I could move to the Toronto, Canada area and work in Michigan.

    It breaks my heart to hear your stories.

    Hey Sara - so happy to see you got a touch!

    I keep checking back here all the time waiting for those precious words we are all waiting to hear that you finally got approved.

    As for his hair transplant, people can be very self concious about small things that other people do not even notice. If it makes him feel better why not. And I don't think its that drastic. Its just like getting a skin graft.

    Are you still planning to move to India?

    Packet 3 Questions

    Well my Fiance just got packet 3 (1 YEAR after we applied!) and now I am confused. Do we have to re-submit all the same information????

    They are asking him for proof of relationship, birth certificate, police records, etc... All the stuff we ALREADY submitted!

    Then there are some pages he thinks I am supossed to fill out dealing with where I live and work, how much money I make, Etc. We already submitted that stuff tooo!

    I'm sooo confused!

    And why would they send him papers for ME to fill out when I am in the US????

    Please help me, since I have not seen these papers I find it very confusing.

    Sara - just want you to know that I am still here and thinking about you every single day. There are no words to express how sad I am for you.

    I wish things could work out for you the way that you want. But if they don't I do know a TON of GREAT doctors from India so you will be in good hands there! Hopefully this petition will shake things up for you. I hate to see you have to move your whole family to India because our U.S. goverment won't do their job!
