No, its actually about the 5th or 6th touch. I had like 2 or 3 touches last month on back to back days. Yes, i really hope its an approval. But, i also hope and pray for everyone else's approval too, especially the ones that have been waiting for so long.

I got touch today on the I-129F. I really really really hope these touches are going towards an approval. But who knows whats happening there since some people have been waiting for so long. Any one else get touches lately?

I think earlier today i saw a post by you that you got so many touches lately but no approval. But this last touch today turned out to be an approval! thats such great news! congratssssss!!!!

My cousin also sent the I-130 in February for his wife and then just sent the I-129F maybe about 3 weeks ago. I dont know if it causes any problem but they got the receipt for it.

You know we got another touch yesterday. I hope you are right that it might just be an approval. All yesterday morning i kept checking uscis website because I had a feeling it would be touched again and finally when i checked in the afternoon again, sure enough it was touched!

I have to sayy this story was really funny!!! I am sure this will happen with my husband and I as well. He is very much taller then me too. lol

LOL If I try to let go of my hubby's hand when we're out he'll freak out On our honeymoon in Cairo, I had to tell him to stop pulling me because he's a lot taller than me and walks faster than me.... I found myself almost being dragged down the street until I got a backbone and told him "Look man! You're pulling me!!! I'm gonna fall!! Either let go or slooooooooooooow down " He was like why didn't u just tell me? So now he walks slowly so I can keep up and he doesn't have to release the hand. Ok guys i have a question. i applied for a k3 visa but I am thinking to request for an expedite for the I-130/CR1 only. Lets say my expedite gets approved for the CR1, do i need to inform them to cancel the k3? im just confused how to go about this. The thing is i dont wnat to cancel the i-129f before i even request for the expedite b/c what if the expedite doesnt get approved then i would still want the k3 to process. I only want to do the CR1 if it is expedited. my other question is, lets say i request for k3 to be expedited, does that mean both the i-130 and i-129f will get approved and then i can just let them know after htati want to stick with the I-130? Please helppp im soo confused and my mind wont stop thinkingggg

Your answer did help but it made me think of another question now. The only reason i filed the K3 is because Islamabad was really backlogged in gettin the CR1 interviews scheduled. But now since NVC is handling this, i see what you mean that its saving time. So now i am thinking that since NVC is the one scheduling the interviews and its going faster then i would rather stick with CR1. The past couple of weeks VSC is starting to pick up the pace and approving both cases together. Lets say VSC approves both of petitions together and send it to NVC, what can i do if i want to only stick with the CR1?

Yes, starting this year Feburary, NVC schedules the interview for CR1 visa for Islamabad embassy K3 is still getting the interview date in Islamabad after the final processing of paper. This process is saving so much time for CR1 that K3 and CR1 are almost taking the same time to process. Plus, you're at VSC you would get your CR1 approved prior to K3 because VSC is very slow in processing K3.

Thanks alot! We are going for the k3 visa. I would stick with the CR1 but the consulate in pakistan is really behind on the interviews for that, it could take 8-9 months. So we are sticking with the k3.

I mailed it on May 12. VSC received it on May 14. The notice date on the NOA1 is May 23 but i received the actual notice in the mail today. I hope my calculations were correct.

but i just put May 14 for your mailed in date. i read somewhere you said it's been 14 days since you mailed it, etc.. just correct me if i'm wrong!

I havent received my NOA1 for my I-129F yet either. It has been about 14 days now.

Okay how long does it typically take to receive your NOA1 receipt from the looks of it takes 5 days right now it is the 9th day and still no receipt... I know that it arrived there and its taking so long... is there a number so i can check i tried call USCIS but it said it might take up to 6 weeks..

her husband stayed in Pakistan for six months after the marraige and filed CR1.........so it has been filed for about three months now......

hi, i have a really good friend from when i used to live in Pakistan and she is waiting for her marraige visa to be processed also.........unfortunately Pakistan means more than normal security checks after nine eleven for women and men now that some of the radicals have started using women for suicide missions........its really sad and its difficult and ur right it is not safe the Pakistan i love is no longer it is very unstable at this point in time but it wont mean anything to the state department or the embassy......... her husband flies back and forth to be with her ever few months i will add u to my prayers

I sent my I-129F with just the NOA1. The transfer notice is incase they forwarded to a different service center. The service center that is listed on your NOA1 is where you will send your I-129F packet.
