  1. Hello people! My parents filed their N400 applications in January and have their interview scheduled for early next week (on two separate days). My father's case is pretty simple however we does owe taxes but has documentation from the IRS stating that he has a payment plan set up which starts on September 1st 2025. My mother filed the N648 Medical Waiver as she has cognitive disabilities where she cannot learn English. I just wanted to know what are the chances of them getting the same day oath taking? Much obliged for your input. Thanks!
  2. 01/24/2025 N400 filed through Attorney (Detroit) 01/25/2025 Notice of Action (Receipt)
  3. Does anyone know how long is it taking from when the N400 is filed to when the Interview is happening to when people are getting approved for their Naturalizations these days. Would appreciate your help!
  4. Thanks for the information Jude61! Really appreciate it. This is what is says when I tried to track the application: As of February 1, 2025, we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOE##########. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
  5. FEB 2025 Filer for N400 here. Filed for my Mother and Father after their 4 years and 9 month completion. Father's application was on normal basis however mother's application was filed with N-648 disability waiver as she has cognitive disabilities and will not be able to take the US Civics test. Filed from Detroit Michigan. Recieved NOA for my father already and my mother's application is being sent in today by the Attorney. Hopefully this is not a hard process but worried due to the new Trump administration and their scrutiny on Immigration Applications. My question is there a chance their old biometrics might be used? Is there a rule for it. The Biometrics were taken for the Permanent Residency Card a little more than 5 years ago. Thanks everyone!
