i dont think u need birth certs...cuz i didnt send in any birth certs just marriage certs...

hello everyone...just checked the online status of my case and the last update date changed from 4/11/08 to 6/10/08 (today's date)....should i have any hopes of getting it approved or is uscis just doing random checks on cases???

It looks liek quite a few of us got "touched" yesterday 6/10. They are working! yeah for us

so let's say they are looking into our case, any idea on how long for noa2 or any other touches before it gets approved ..?

ok cool so i got the list and basic from what i understand is i would need, her org. copy of the birth cert, marriage cert and passport copies and pcc right? now does she get te birth cert and marriage cert back at the time of interview as they are the original we will be sending in.? also someone has told me i would need her parents birth certs as well, is that true? do i need anything from her family side?

ok so i clicked on that link and on the next page US Embassy/Consulate-specific information in the drop down menu i dont see mumbai(bombay) as thats the place where the interview will be taken....i m missing something here??

can someone give me an idea of when my case would be approved? i mailed it on 3-31-08 and i got a NOA1 on 4-8-08, touched on 4-11-08. my case is at CSC, please give me an idea so i can try my process for NVC. thanks

so lets see if NVC needs her Org. birth certs and i send those in wouldnt she need them at the consulate? or would the mumbai consulate know allready that the org. birtthcert is at NVC.\?...

ya i was reading something somewhere about you need to show all your deposits i mean cant i just have the bank write a letter that says I have such balance in my account i mean wouldnt that work or do i still need to show each month statement?

how can my wife email the DS 3032.. i mean does she sign the form and scan's it and then email it to NVC or what..because that form also has a barcode on it so i mean how do u email it???

I was looking at the new processing time on the uscis site and CSC is at Aug, 2007.. Now i checked it couple days ago when they still had the march 15th timelines and that time it showed the I130 was being processed for Sep 17th 2007. How can they go back from sep. to aug. shouldnt it go forward??? or m i missing something??

It may be because some bad guy's RFE had processed just before the posting date and he/she had that date has the priority date !

It just means your file was moved, looked at, refrenced for some reason. Sometimes if you call it will be "touched". If you are on the USCIS website it will be shown as an update. Most of the time it doesn't mean a whole lot, but sometimes when your time is coming up for approval it will be "touched" because it is being reviewed.

SO it says on the USCIS as Touched status??? or does it still say case has been recieved and pending>?>?

hello i filed for I130 for my wife on 3/31/08 and i got the NOA1 4/10/08 is it worth it to file the 129f? i heard she has 2 wait for couple of months before she gets her green card and also have to file the form i485 to change the status, is that true? and also is it true that the fee for that form i485 is near $1000. (thousand) usd. please let me know and also how long around would it take if she has to come on the 130 file and how long would it take on the 129f. is it really worth all the trouble??? please help i have a long way to go and cant wait...
