hi all...one of my friend's got approved 8/21 she wants to know what form to use for AOS...she is currently unemployed and her dad claimed her depandent on his last year's tax return. she will be using him for co-sponsor so what forms she needs to fill out? i864 for her n i864 for mom/dad?

Yoke how her dad claimed her depandant on the tax return. Is she below 18.

just want everybody know that my ds230 package was already recive by the nvc..i wish they review it fast so they can send it to the local embassy here in manila...well how long they will review it???thanks to everyone.

gaurav just look @ my time line took almost 2 weeks for me...it will be there soon...

i check my case often during the day but i learned the only time the info changes is when i call the first time for the day...i usually call around 7:30 am EST and it has updated info only IF something was generated/sent/received by the NVC..

hard copy is MUCH faster nowadays ...

for my wife it took around 7 days to get the pcc. first she had to get it from the local police station (even though she didnt need it cuz her passport is less then 6 mnts old but a'bad passport office requied local pcc as well) once she had the local pcc (which took 2 days n bribe was 500 -/ rps. she had a local agent mail everything to a'bad passport office n she received that passport pcc in 3 days in the mail. for some reason a'bad passport office does not give out PCC on the same day.. they will only mail it to the address that's listed on the bio page of the passport.

my wife who lives in india, and want to know that can i send DS 3032 form from US to NVC, or does she have to email to NVC, or mail it from India to NVC? she is going to scan DS 3032 form and sign it and then send it to me.

Sure, it doesn't say it has to come from India.

I am the foreign spouse, but I have done all the correspondences with NVC on behalf of my husband since I have more free time right now compare to him. I just created a common email account and sent all the email correspondences ( i.e. expedite request, amendment of errors) to NVC from that email account.

Gaurav this is what i did for our DS-3032, when nvc mailed me a copy of the DS-3032 i scanned it and emailed my wife that form then she printed it out n signed it and scanned/emailed me back. so once i had the signed ds-3032 in my email i printed it out n mailed to NVC...went through without problem.

hi guys, this is for those people who are from India. i have applied for my wife I- 130, and its just approved on friday. She wants to know where to pick up Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)? she told me that before you can go to police station and they will give it to u, and now things have changed she said. they required a copy of visa call. is that true for all those who got their PCC?

I husband got his police station PCC without any problems.. He showed the DS-230 cover letter, I-130 receipt notice and approval notice. Filled up an application and got the PCC within one week's time.. In which area are you talking about ? Is it in Ahmedabad ??

Gaurav my wife just got her pcc less then 2 weeks ago, a'bad passport office requires the following:

Local PCC

copy of the $400 IV fee bill

and they need the copy of the missing doc list that you get from NVC... just send those in and she will get it in no time.

my wife had a local agent near Anand side and the agent mailed all the doc's to a'bad and she received the PCC through mail.

ya wait till bill's get generated i almost lost 400$...i should of have waited for paying it cuz i still needed to wait for the PCC from my wife which came to me on 12th...

anyone has the # to get a hold of rep's @ CSC? i was reading somewhere abt RFE line or somthing how does that work and whats the # ??? please let me know ,one of my best needs it as she got an RFE today

i know this is in the wrong spot and its not VISA related at all but i wanted to know whats the cheapest way to call a cell in india. i use airtel call home and it's 5 cents/min. is there anything cheaper then this..cuz i recharge airtel every 2 weeks for $100...

just do it when u hear your case #, because as i said it takes 15 days for them to respond to that email n by then i m sure your DS-3032 would be generated... good luck

took a little over week for me, you can email as soon as u hear your case # @ NVC, cuz it takes around 15 days from them to respond to the email also you might want to send in the hard copy of the DS-3032 signed by the beneficiary once it has generated and you receive the hard copy of it.

damm that sux..so now that means i would get NOV, 08...

this RFE i got was for F4 (bro/sister petition) ..........

when i filled for my husband last year only things i submitted then was ds230 part 1, part 2 and passport biograpic page...which got case completed!

oh ya forgot abt the BIO page on the passport...thanks anything else>>>???

Just 2 days ago I found out that there was a RFE on DS230 that I submitted.......as NVC was orginial birth & marriage certificate of the PETITONER as well!!

I'm not sure why nvc is asking for the petitioner doc's but anyways just wanted to tell you before you send just make sure with nvc agent !!!

hello all, is there anything else to submit to the consulate after your case completed at NVC? they way i understood was once NVC completes the case they assign the interview date and the petitioner and beneficiary get's a copy of that appointment letter. but now i m seeing other member's time line and they have packet 3 & 4 ? what are these packet 3 n 4? do i need to complete these ..we are on CR1.
