K1 Petition, Petitoner or Beneficary can both be under age 18 to file. Under 18 would need parental Consent

K1 Visa Healthcare Insurance is not part of the requirements

OP states is he living in Philippines. If he does Utah online, then he can encounter problems getting a 13a visa in Philippines. They would just laugh at you if you tried to get 13a visa in Philippines to stay there if you bring a Utah online marriage to them, works for US immigration but not for living in Philippines. Philippines isn't the USA, they don't recognise same sex marriage, muslims can have upto 4 wives, and only muslims can divorce. Different country different rules.

Just seems like too many hoops to jump thru, when I can fly to Las Vegas and get a marriage license almost anytime and married easy or have a friend marry you in USA. There is some guy named Gio who has a Youtube channel and he is living in Philippines last few years, for some reason he married there. Now him and his girl split up, now he will have to jump thru a bunch of hoops and lots of extra money just to file for a divorce, and she will probably be married the rest of her life in PHilippines and never get to marry again since getting the divorce recognized in PHilippines for her is gonna take years and probably a years salary. If she date he can have her arrested and brought up on charges of bigamy.

Why is that a big plus? Make no sense what so ever. You won't be finding many if any whom gonna fly 24 hours to Philippines from USA and pay $1500 just for a wedding, and with the time change and crossing date line it's a beating. Plus add you will have to have a cow and a couple of pigs slaughtered, Once they bring the cow you will have to pay somewhere for it to graze before you slaughter it, pig can be kept in a pen. Then add all the hoopla you have to jump thru to just get married in PHilippines. Philippines is the land of different rules for different cities, nothing is uniformed. Each city will have their own rules and they make change from day to day. All the paperwork you need to bring like Birth Certificate, Divorce Decrees, CENOMAR, Legal Capicaty to Marry form from US Embassy, marriage seminars, long wait for Marriage licenses Parental Consent for anyone under age 21 without that no marriage license issued, 21 to 25 needs parent advisement. Have you been married in Philippines?

Thanks for the update.......... -
Looks like US Embassy in Manila just processed 200 Afghan National flown to Philippines via US Government planes to process SIV (Special Immigrant Visa) and put them on commercial flights (Sure paid for by US taxpayers) to USA who arrived in USA between January 15th to 17th. I bet it was hard to get a Interiew date on Monday January 6th, and I am sure medical interivew was waived as well. I do find this interesting, and looks like more could be coming to US Embassy in Manila. 200 Afghan nationals complete visa processing, leave Philippines

So they are asking to see I-134 again at US Embassy in Manila for a K1? I remember for a couple of years they quit asking for them. Do they now send a form letter with requirments for a K1? If so do you have a copy you can post? -
You forgot to add alot of things for him He would have to fly to US Embassy in Manila and get a form to get married in the Philippines if he doesn't live close. They would have to do a pre-marriage counselling And the worst part is he would have his name registered a national data base in Philippines showing married. Nope Hard pass on that in Philippines. Stick with K1 for Philippines.

I married my wife in Las Vegas in 2015, She came to USA on K1 and took about 3 months total. We have been married 10 years as well. My wife has US Citizenship and is a dual Citizen as well, She has her own car, my wife doesn't need to work because I make bank, she is however licensed RN in both USA and Philippines, She too has her own saving account and credit cards. If she wanted to work she has that option, but really no need for her to work. No way or no how would I have gotten married in Philippines back then, jump thru all the hoops, have to do all kinds of seminars, get my name listed on a national marriage register in Philippines and have to either have parental consent or advice to make the marriage valid. But I had spent a long time in Philippines and know how it works in the Philippines.

I like your plan of getting her a US Passport so she can collect Social Security, Good plan on that. K1 is your best option and fastest option, Don't listen to all these people whom want you to get married in Philippines, nothing good can come from getting married in Philippines, bring them to USA where it is easy. Good Luck.

Good Catch, Make sense. I also thought at one time USCIS was throwing K1 into that category as well trying to inflate approval rate numbers

Former Philippines can still own land, just limited until you get Dual. Up to 1 hectare which is fairly large for a house, that would cost about close to 3 million peso just to put a nice hollow block wall like 7 feet high and huge electric gate. That would be you would need in Philippines. Key points about former Filipino citizens and property ownership: Restrictions on land size: Former natural-born Filipinos can own a maximum of 1,000 square meters of urban land for residential use or 1 hectare of rural land. Business land ownership: For business purposes, they can own up to 5,000 square meters of urban land or 3 hectares of rural land. Inheritance rights: Former citizens can still inherit property in the Philippines. Constitutional basis: These limitations are based on the 1987 Philippine Constitution.

I found a hack for POE in USA. If I am running late I will just not pick up my bags at POE and they will send them to your final destination. I have done it twice and it worked both times. First time I didn't know you were supposed to collect your luggage at your POE, I figured they sent it to your final destination in USA. 2nd time I tried it to see if was really a hack and left a empty luggage and it was shipped onto my final destination in DFW.

Sorry to hear that, I know it would be cool to show your parents around the USA and let them explore. I wonder if being from China was the issue? Do you know if it's difficult for parents from China to get a tourist visa to come to USA to visit like a naturalized child? I am only knowledgeable about Philippines.

She will be with us whole time. I have itineary print out I take and also have email on phone from Costco Travel. Do you remember when you could fly into Mexico from USA with only a US Driver License and your Birth Certificate? They started requiring Passports in 2009, I think it was same for US Citizens flying to Canada.
-
When you crossed into Mexico I assume you walked? Did you ever have to show a passport to enter Mexico or enter USA or do they just wave you thru if you look American? In Texas I saw you pay like 4 quarters in a turn stall thing to enter Mexico and they don't ask for ID's, not sure how it works coming back to USA. I was watching a person going down there for a dental procedure.
