Normal, wait for few days. Sometimes the status is delayed. But I also understand based on my observations, if IO opens your case to look at it, and closes the window, you may get update saying action been taken without any actual action being taken by IO.

I have heard that Irving occasionally does same day oath but it was not the case for any of my parents. One had their oath scheduled one week later at the Plano Events Center. The other had their oath scheduled just over two weeks later in Irving, same office where they had their interview. The oath ceremony in the Irving field office was much faster than the one in Plano, but no guest is allowed inside the Irving building. In Plano you can bring your family and friends inside.

And now both my parents are done with their immigration journey. My August filer parent just had their oath today at the Irving field office. Short and sweet, quite unceremonious but it was smooth and they are glad to be done! All the best to anyone still in the middle of their journey 🇺🇸 

I just received an email that action has been taken on my case. Application (5Yr) status changed to “Interview has been scheduled”. Under documents, I see my interview letter.

Parent passed their interview today. They had to wait for about an hour or so before being called, actual interview lasted ~10 minutes. Status now says they have been placed in line for an oath ceremony.

Update: I got my interview scheduled notice yesterday 09/19. The interview is on 11/06. Good luck everyone.

Great to know! Dallas too here. I am yet to submit. I will be available for interview only after Nov which is holding me from submitting my application. I see others getting interview letters in 2 months and getting their process completed which is great. I am still trying to decide if I should submit right away and request interview reschedule if I get a letter for interview before I am available. Any info on interview rescheduling? 

I don’t personally have experience rescheduling interviews but read on this forum that some people were able to reschedule an interview without issues 👍 
my other parent filed 4/25 and interviewed 7/18 (oath one week later 7/25) if that helps in any way in terms of timeline. If the timeline is similar you shouldn’t get your interview before November but I would wait mid-month maybe just to be sure.
