    For me the first time I sent my paperwork in they sent everything back but also stapled the I-797C to the associated paperwork but mine was sent back due to forgeting to attach the first page of my wife I-485 and was suppose to use the update forms and the I-765 cannot start processing due to the I-485 being sent back to me. I actually never received any rejection letters or notices just all my paperwork sent back in 1 big white envelope.

    Just to clarify. Once I receive my wife ROM I can go to the Phillipines consulate (local one for me is based in Honolulu) to change her name on her passport? Also since she is already staying here in the USA with me do I order/get the ROM from the PSA or the consulate and if I have to go through PSA to get the ROM how do I go about doing that?

    💓 Won't be a total loss though since I will have to get a few things notarized (some of my copies) and I don't have anyone here who can legally do it here so I should be able to get that at least done when I go.

    Yeah I just saw that too. I don't think it will be possible to do it in the timeframe by the time I will be in the area but I will still start the process anyhow. Luckly the consulate there will be in charge of ROMs for our area.

    Lol my boss isn't going to be exactly thrilled for me asking for time off again so soon too. Also going to try to get her Philippines passport updated with my last name since the consulate isn't too far away and I will already be there for the day. Might as well try to.

    Received 4 letters today from USCIS. Got my online code to add the case to her MyUSCIS account and her biometrics appoint was scheduled on 2/18/2025. 🥰

    Might not have to contact USCIS via live agent. USPS does informed delivery in my area and it show my notices from USCIS should be delivered today so I will go check later this afternoon since that's when most of everyone mail is delivered by then.

    Tried that actually. Unfortunately the agent did not give me the online access code.

    Unfortunately I cannot. My wife did create a MyUSCIS account but when I try to add the cases for her it's asking for the online code that's in the mail. Going to check my mail soon to see if I get but they only mailed out my notice on 1/31/2025 so it might be awhile still.

    Yeah. But its for my wife so it will be worth it in the end when it's all said and done. 🥰 I'm still waiting for my NOA with the appointment date to arrive but checking the case status it does show her appointment has been set though if they ask me to go farther than Hawaii for her biometrics I'm gonna ask USCIS to reimburse me 🤣

    When my wife has to go we have to go to Honolulu which is in my state but since I live in a neighboring island I have to take a $300 plane ride probably another $300 hotel room and either Lyft or Uber for probably the same 10 min visit lol.

    Also happened to me as well. Was about 2 business weeks (14 business days) before the Phoenix Lockbox responsed but everything was good this time. Hope everything goes well and quickly for you.

    Also too my NOA for my wife were sent out before the checks were cashed. NOA was sent on 1/31/2025 but the checks cashed did not show up in my bank account till today and was dated 2/3/2025 as cashed via ETF. Did you have enough funds for them for the checks to clear?

    USCIS just cashed my checks for the I-485 and I-765 today and I was told via agent from live chat they mailed my notices on 1/31/2025. :).

    Update today, Wife received a text saying her case was received. Only thing is the forms were delievered on Jan 11 2025 via USPS and yet looking at the case number it says on Jan 10 2025 they received it lol. Phoenix Lockbox was were her forms were sent

    Mine wasn’t RFE pre say. It was returned to me due to it being misfiled aka I forgot to attach one paper to my original filing. I am assuming because of that thats why no updates yet though talking to some other people who recently sent their 485 in and some sent to the Phoenix lockbox they say could take up 3 to 6 weeks before any updates. At the time of writing only been 12 business days and end of this week would be about three weeks so i just have to wait for now.

    Still waiting on any status updates. :(. No checks were cashed yet and no updates from USCIS either.

    @AsercHaven't received any notification nor were my checks cashed. Also checked my post office in case they sent anything back but they did not. I tried to ASK Emma on site but was told via a live agent it can take up to 30 business days (6 days so far at the time of writing) before anything happens. Though this is the second time I had to send in the forms because I forgot to put 1 paper and and it was sent back and I was asked to put a paper from them about refiling and make sure to put it on top so perhaps that's what may be causing a slight delay in my update for my filing? On the 1 hand I'm glad nothing got sent back this time for now, but now just the waiting without knowing any updates is stressing me lol.

    @Aserc If you filed your paperwork and paid the fees via check did they already cash the check?

    I see. Unfortunately me and my wife did not receive any text from USCIS that they received it. Hopefully everything goes well for you and hopefully I will hear something soon for my AOS for the wife.

    Sent my AOS for my wife on Jan 3 2025 and arrived on Jan 11 2025 at the Phoenix Lockbox via USPS (Had to sent again due to a missing paper :(. ). Still no response or cashed check yet. (Only been 5 business days at the time of writing) Was a little stressed because the first time I sent it was only 5 days before they sent it back but USPS making me stress because the first AOS that was sent was delivered at 85036 but my fixed AOS was delivered at 85034. Hoping that isn't an issue. I know they have 30 business days to respond but hoping for the best. I did fill out the paperwork for them to email or text with notifications but I also heard even if you fill it out sometimes they don't do it anyhow.
