  1. Hey guys

Just wanted to have ur opinion about something since I do not really know how things really work out in the States.

"Do u think that it's normal that a scheduler will check an employee on the hotel to make sure that the hotel is taking care of him/em? These employers have out of town shifts that require them to stay in a hotel arranged by the scheduler and pls note that he/she travels by him/herself."

Any response will be appreciated! :)

  2. i am sorry Kshatriya for what happened to you and ur fiancee. But i really hope u will follow ur case to your senator/congressman. i would not let it happen that they made ur fiancee confess that u were married in spite the fact u were not legally married. she was intimidated and given no choice, i can see that. pls fight for that. But if filing k3 seems to be ur best option, then go for it.

    good luck to you! :)

  3. Roselinda,

We are in the same situation: approved on March, 21st, touched on March, 24th.

    No news since then.

Last time I called NVC on Friday morning, because I heard from a couple, who was approved the same day, that their case had been received by the Consulate already.

Anyway, all we can do is just wait.

    Good luck to everyone!

    Tasha

    Tasha and Roselinda,

Frustrating really. All I want to do is venting here. I don't think I will call NVC again until this Friday. I do not expect that my case is already there cuz it's smashing me down somehow to learn the exact opposite!

    Arghhhhh......

  4. Just got off the phone with NVC, still no sign of my paperwork.

I'd gotten my hopes up after someone who got NOA2 after me got a NVC number earlier this week, but still nothing.

    :(

    Damn you CSC. Damn you!

::shakes fist in general direction of CSC::

Hi shawndoc, i am still waiting too.. CSC lady said that she'd give it another week, we'll see. I'll call back next Friday, too frustrated now :(

  5. I don't think there is anything you can do about the time. When I send packages to Vietnam, it often takes 4-6 weeks. I know for a fact that it gets to Vietnam very quickly, but it sits there for a long time before they deliver it. And I don't know the details (I don't want to know) but there is always some sort of money exchange for her to get the package. We would probably call it a bribe.

I don't even bother sending it any kind of priority/express for that reason.

I have sent probably 6 or 8 packages there over the past 1 1/2 years. Only 1 got lost. Unfortunately, that was Mai's Christmas present.

If you want to send it by DHL, it will get there faster, but it will cost you dearly, I am guessing at least twice what you paid for the Post Office.

USPS has been pain. my fiance sent several mails and they kept the first class ones (or courier i dont remember) until i had to pick it up myself in the post office, plus they charged me fee to pick it.

  6. Hi all

Been a little nervous lately. We havent gotten case number for our approved case March 19th.

I saw some touch on our uscis account on April 8th, then called NVC today and found out they did not receive our case yet. Any idea how many days does it take to forward mail from CSC to NVC? Cuz I suppose the touch somewhat meant that our case was about to be ready to be sent to the NVC, -and hopefully sent!-

    Any response will be appreciated!

    Cheers

  7. I would say, don't worry at all about it. The petition is approved and CSC is done with it. They do however take some time to forward the petitions to NVC.

As for the letters of intent.. Do carry updated ones for the interview, just in case, they want to see them. The CO did not even see mine at the interview..

Congratulations on getting your NOA2 :thumbs:

    Hello DanielParul

I read in ur teamline that u got two months of delay when ur case reached the NVC, what was goin on?

Could u pls share ur experience on that?

  8. hey guys

I am wondering that what is going on with december filers at CSC? is there anyone getting aproved these days or what ?I am guessing that not too many december filers mostly january because all I see january filers posting most ..

come on december filers just share and we can get some ideas ..

    Hello

We are december filer, got approved on March 19th yet out case hasnt reached NVC. Still waiting :( Called NVC yesterday and happy news is not here yet to come.

Be patient I am kinda sure u will be approved this month

  9. Thanks a lot Kim and Karya! :)

    Dear all,

I wonder if there will still be update from CRIS after the release of NOA2, such as update that states that CSC has sent the case to NVC, and update that state that NVC has sent the file to the consulate. Could u pls let me know? I am concerned since our approved petition hasnt been sent to the NVC

    Many thanks in advance! :)

Ranie and glen, from my experience, we didn't get any update from CRIS after the NOA2, but my fiance got a mail from NVC two weeks after NOA2 and they said that the case has been forwarded to the embassy here and we will hear something from them soon. I remembered my fiance got the mail in Friday and we got the email from US embassy by Monday with my case number. I guess you will hear something from NVC not so long from now.

    Good luck

  10. I did not look at your timeline before replying. It is common to get a touch or two in the first few days after your NOA2. I would still guess it's them sending it to NVC, but FFS that took them a long time if that's what it is!

Now I'm curious enough to see if I got any touches after February 27th....

    What does FFS mean SonoranSongbird?

    cheers

  11. My case is not at NVC yet. So, we are in the same boat. You know for a fact that they got their NOA2 AFTER you? Are they on visajourney? I don't think their petition could have been forwarded to NVC without others that were approved before. It just doesn't make any sense. It sounds like we all need luck.

Yes they are on VJ too

    Pls check this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry1742857

You may see touches after approval, in order to know if the case is at NVC you need to phone them and speak to a person. They will inform you with the latest information.

    Hello

Yes my fiance called NVC this morning and they said they didnt have the file yet. Just wondering if CRIS might give us update email about that. What can the touches after approval mean Sal and Jay?

  13. The petition was approved. The missing letter of intent is not the issue it's help up so please don't worry about it. Some adjuticators are just more particular than others. As stated above, you will want to have a new original letter of intent dated sometime after the NOA2 to have available for the interview.

The case is held up because CSC holds newly approved petitions until there are enough to send a large shipment. If you look around VJ you'll find people who have waited more than 60 days!

Yes, it's very wrong and grossly mismanaged in comparisson to VSC but it's nothing new and no reason for concern.

    Hello

thanks a lot for ur response. I got nervous cuz I just found out someone got approved 3 days after me, just got their case number generated. whats wrong? they shall process case per case by order, as they mentioned. can anyone pls explain here?

Hi Ranie and Glen, I think you are saying that some body who got approved 3 days after you, already has their NVC case number, right? If so, the more important question is, did they file at CSC or VSC? If they also filed at CSC, then we have even more reason to be concerned

Russ and Kim, I think they mean some body already has an NVC case number, and they are not talking about NOA2 approval order.

Yes they also filed at CSC that's why I am concerned, can only wait now! Pls wish me luck!

  14. The answer is simple. They lie!

They probably do attempt to process close to the order they're received but can you imagine processing the amount of files they get by month, date, year and making sure they're processed EXACTLY in order? You certainly can't base your expectations or emotions on that statement.

The fact that you know for sure that other couples approved at the same time you were is a plus. It's very possible your file was just under that other couple's and that you'll be getting the info you need soon. Try to be patient just a little while longer. :)

KimandRuss, thanks a lot, I'll hang in here! :)
