Yes, thanks to everyone's help I realize now he got all of his requirements in. I truly thought we had to get the next does before we could proceed. Now I know! Thank you guys so much!

As long as the immigrant medical exam was done within 1 year of filing the I-485 then yes, just include a COPY of the DS-3025 with your other supporting documents in the filing and leave it at that

If you want to see the table of contents that Jaycel and I included with our filing, you can go to the first post for the November 2024 Filers Thread we started here

Exactly this!! Please file asap. This administration hasn’t even fully began its wrath despite what some think- it’s coming hard!! I wouldn’t delay, mess or do anything to compromise status (I don’t think you are but just pre-warning). Wishing you the best! ☘️

@Dashinka is 100% correct here - As long as the DS-3025 is marked complete and is complete, there is no need for a civil surgeon / I-693. The immigrant medical exam performed abroad is good as long as you file the I-485 within 1 year of it being completed. You should include a copy of the DS-3025 with your AOS filing to remind USCIS that you had an exam abroad and to look in your A-File to get it.

No, only if the DS3025 is marked as incomplete.  Otherwise, his medical exam I693 should be good from his K1 visa interview.

    Good Luck!

The question is, on his DS-3025 form he should have received from the immigrant medical provider, was he provided a blanket waiver code for the Hep-B vaccine for "Insufficient time to complete series" (Blanket Waiver Legend "B") and on the back of the form was the box checked that says, "K Visa applicant voluntarily completed vaccine requirements" ? If so, he does not need a new medical exam from a civil surgeon.

you mentioned getting the HepB shot. Did he get any part of the HepB vaccine for his medical? if you are waiting to start the AOS because he needs the next shot, check his vaccine transcript to see what the medical says. If it is complete you do not need to wait and see a CS.

Sorry it took so long to answer. The others are right. If the DS-3025 is marked complete. The put that form in the package and mail that sucker off.

This was our thought too but we wanted to hear people's thoughts here. Thank you.

Half an Orange reacted to Dashinka in Customs officer told my fiance getting married on the 75th day is cutting it too close....
The CBP officer is wrong, there is no deadline to file the AOS package.  That being said, it is best to file the AOS as soon as possible after the wedding and after you get the marriage certificate, and most members here will advise to file within the 90 days if possible.  Take your time after entry getting the forms ready, so as soon as you have the marriage certificate you can get the forms on their way to USCIS.  Don't stress over it, yes there are cases where people ran into issues by not filing the package, there are also stories of people waiting 1-2 years to file.  There are also some locales where it takes almost 3 months to get the marriage certificate, so even if a couple got married the day of arrival, they may not be able to submit the AOS within the 90 days.

    Good Luck!

My fiance just got his letter from the London embassy today! He's going to schedule his medical on Monday. It was just over 8 weeks from our NOA2 to getting this letter. Have you heard anything yet?

@ScarletWitch6xTHank you SO much for this. I'm in the exact same position it seems as @summer4042, waiting for the NVC to send our petition to London. Got my NOA2 on May 13th and my case was finally marked as ready on June 24th. I've been really stressed and unsure and this reassured me that everything is going normally. Hoping my fiance will get his embassy letter in the coming week!
  23. Thanks

On the website for booking interviews, it states that you should only create an account if you have the interview letter. I believe you need a copy of it at the medical and interview.

Were you marked ready at the NVC on June 24th? The NVC only sends files to the embassy every two weeks, and the 24th falls right in the gap between ship dates. I would think yours would have hopefully been sent to the embassy on this week's shipping
  24. Thanks

I did some more digging on this (I am UK too and waiting for NVC processing so I have too much anxiety and free time).

If you go to the UK Embassy Website - https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/visa-information-services/nonimmigrant-visa-appointments/ - it talks about the process of setting the appointment. If you follow the link to the "Visa Appointment Service website" -  https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb - you can look at the steps and resources.

Under the 'Create an Account' section - if you follow the prompts for K Visa you will land here:

So it does look like you need to wait for the first letter to get to you. I think they might be pre-scheduling K Visa interviews. Once you have that first letter you could probably keep checking the website to see if any new appointments pop up earlier than what they set you for.

I see. I suspected that was the case but gave it a try anyway. Unfortunately I don't have a case number from them yet. I'll fill out the public enquiry form from above and try to be patient!
