Do not complicate your life: As mailing addresses and car registrations were not changed, there is no need to add evidence to the contrary and possibly raise question marks. As for the continuous residency requirement, the evidence you have (deed to house, mortgage, taxes) is more than sufficient. If asked during the interview why both of you were absent, simply explain your attendance in the program and that you did maintain residency in the state - have evidence on hand to attest to that fact is asked.

The immigration journey is complicated enough as it is - not sure why you (or anyone else for that matter) needs to add further complexity to the process. The point of a K-1 Visa is to marry once in the United States, not the other way around. One can only assume that you will potentially have scrutiny further down the line. Nevertheless, best of luck to you! A reminder for those about to embark on their immigration journey: 1) Do things by the book 2) KISS: Keep It Stupid Simple.

Easiest option is to have someone Express Next-Day the item to you in Greece. If you are in Athens or large islands like Crete, any of the large carries like FedEx or DHL work, and it's no big deal. For smaller islands, you may have more difficulty receiving the item/experience a slight delay, as FedEx/DHL/UPS partners with local carriers for small island deliveries. -

If only Miami DMV’s were as efficient 🤣🥲 -
Wanted to provide an update and our personal experience on the Global Entry process for February 2025, for my husband as a Conditional GC Holder. Thursday, February 20 (7:00pm) - Submitted Application Online Saturday, February 22 (6:00am) - Conditional Approval Monday, February 24 (8:00am) - Interview & Approval (Expiration March 2030) Was so surprised to see the Conditional Approval take less than 2 days, as we were expecting it to take 6-12 months based on some stories online.

My cleaning lady, originally from Nicaragua, is also in deportation proceedings and received the same documentation when she crossed the border in January. She hired a lawyer, and is fighting it in court - had her first court date (out of three) on April 22nd. It is quite a drawn out process. -
This happened to a few of us last year: The embassy requires you to email a copy of the DS160 Confirmation Page which contains a barcode. Once they receive it and approve it, they will unlock the functionality for you to pay and schedule an appointment. You can either pay with credit card (which is what I did) or via local bank transfer. The CC payment was approved immediately, but bank transfers take 2-3 days. DM me if you have any other questions!

Absolutely agree with CR-1 versus K-1 Route. Although the CR-1 will take slightly longer (a negligible amount), you are saving so much time, money, and stress at the end of the day by doing the CR-1. I don't regret doing the K-1 route, as it was the right thing for us to do at the time, but certainly wouldn't recommend it to others based off of my experience.

Hello all - My question relates to whether receiving an RFE changes the USCIS Office of where I-485's, I-131's, and I-765's are processed. I filed my I-485 Package on February 7, 2024 and shortly thereafter received an RFIE on February 14. I promptly responded and sent the documentation to the mailing address indicated in the letter - USCIS National Benefit Center, Lee Summit, MO. Does this indicate that my applications will no longer be processed at the Chicago Service Center (which has much shorter processing windows), and will now be processed at the NBC Missouri Service Center (which has much longer processing windows)? I noticed that a vast majority of I-765's are approved the next day after biometrics for filers from the Chicago Service Center, but we are still waiting close to one month after the bio appointment. Any insight is appreciated!
