Way more updates than we have gotten! I think we have maybe three line items on ours. 😩 But, considering the other items in your activity it seems to line up that you would get so many actively reviewing updates.

Right there with ya. It’s been silent and we even uploaded “corrections” due to realizing we answered a question wrong. Our I-130 has been showing as “taking longer than usual” since December. Reached out to USCIS and they said “everything looks good, it’s just in the hands of the case worker.” Lately it’s been 4 weeks then 4 months on the I-485 just alternating back and forth. on the bright side, the I-94 travel history has gone *poof*! Supposedly that’s a good sign.

Did you not already provide all of that as part of your I-130?

Starting to collect docs for 2023 taxes and realizing I’m not sure what to do about my spouse. 🫤 We filed AOS on an ESTA waiver so the process is pretty different from most. Technically, at the moment, he is an illegal immigrant because his 90 days has passed. But, based on DOS memos, he is essentially in a “protected status” because the 485 is pending. Should he file taxes for 2023? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Going to be an interesting one to figure out. Having a SSN doesn’t make it any easier.

At least you’re getting some status updates! 😆 Ours has been stuck for months on the same status.

@Linn1 I have not been in the forum for a few months but was catching up on Friday and realized I too answered this one wrong. 😑 We have been experiencing the 4 months to 4 weeks to 4 months back and forth so I’ve been getting annoyed. I resubmitted (online via unsolicited evidence) just the two pages with corrected answers on Friday, each one initialed, and a cover letter with explanation. That’s based on what previous posters did who had not YET received an RFE. Hoping it is sufficient! Haven’t heard anything yet but will update once I do.

They just showed up again! Ok, it must have just been a glitch. *phew* I got a little worried for a minute. I checked yesterday and our I-130 was updated to '5 weeks' and then today it disappeared so I thought, "whoa, does that mean it's accepted and done? Is this normal?!" 😆

USCIS did maintenance to the site the other night and everything seemed fine yesterday. But today, our case is no longer there. 😬 Has anyone else run into issues with online access today? Trying to figure out if it’s a global issue or just a problem for our case.

I-485 NOA text received a few minutes ago and an update via USCIS portal that our I-130 is "actively being reviewed". 🥳 I-485 was received in Tempe, AZ on 10/26 so not a bad turnaround for NOA.

I-485 & I-131 sent overnight via FedEx today (10/25/2023)! Submitted I-130 online on 10/15/2023 (concurrent filing) and received NOA "instantly".

Just curious, why do so many people say that the certified copy is necessary and/or include it? The I-485 instructions specifically states:
