  1. Congratulations! Enjoy your oath ceremony! I had mine last Friday and it was very moving and felt like a big moment.
  2. Thank you! That’s right, I thought it was strange but maybe because we had two small kids? I don’t really know but he was asked to stay in the waiting room.
  3. It went really well! It turns out it was a combo interview so I’m glad I brought all the extra documentation, they made my husband and kids wait in the waiting room though. I answered all six questions correct and passed, so now I’m waiting for the letter for the ceremony. 😊
  4. Oh thank you! I’m thinking of bringing my husband’s and our kid’s birth certificates, car insurance, health insurance, marriage certificate and tax transcripts.
  5. I honestly can’t remember if I requested a combo interview. The letter doesn’t state anything about the ROC so I’m assuming the interview is just for the N400.
  6. Hi! Has anyone had their interview in Phoenix and can tell me what to expect? Mine is coming up tomorrow. I didn’t realize I’ll have to wait for the ROC to get approved before getting my citizenship.
  7. Hi, sorry but I got to ask, can you apply for naturalization 90 days before you’ve been a resident for 3 years? If so I can apply now. My 3 years will be on October 23rd.
  8. I’m about to file in a week. Besides filling out the application, do I only need to upload a copy of my green card and our marriage certificate?
  9. I’m a Swedish citizen but have been a permanent resident in the US since October 2020, currently waiting for my ROC application to get approved. I realized my Swedish passport expires next year (although maybe it’s already invalid as I changed my last name after marriage?). Do I need to renew it before it expires?
