Just got notices in email that action was taken and signed in to the web page and it shows approved 751 and notice that she was in queue for oath ceremony. She had her interview this morning.

Yea her whole interview was bizarre. Not sure if he just got training on abuse and was trying to push it or what. There also was an official in another cube yelling at a women and she was crying. Not sure what was going on there.

My wife had her N400 interview today. I think it was a combo but she didn't really know and they didn't ask to talk to me at all. They spent 5 minutes on the citizenship questions and exam. Then they pulled up my Facebook page and asked her who 6 women were that commented on my posts. She didn't know any of them as like 80% of my Facebook friends are not really people I know but friend me for my business. The interviewer then spent 25 minutes grilling her over my ex wife's asking stuff like did I know one of my wife's was short like her. I am don't even know how they would know the height of my ex's. I don't talk about my past life so she didn't know anything about them but told them I was just outside if they wanted to talk to me. They said no they were just asking for her protection. Then they said her should would be protected from domestic violence when she signs the oath of allegiance. Then they asked her about my hobbies and my favorite foods. This was strange too as she could have said anything because they didn't interview me at all to know the answers. Wanted to know who was the mother of one of her children. Asked why our kids changed their last name to mine (I had done a step-parent adoption) It's like the only documents he looked at was the divorce papers from previous marriages. Wanted to know why I was still using an old email that had my ex-wife's last name. (it was actually my old name and I had been using it for 15 years) I just couldn't figure out what he was going for with all these questions. I don't think any interview I read about had them asking questions like this. In the end they said she was approved. So now 4-6 weeks for the oath appointment. I am glad this stuff is all over.

Just notified that her interview is scheduled for July 19th in Louisville. No movement on the removal of conditions. Hopefully they do both that day.

Strange the case dropped from the our account. That and the removal of conditions. Had to use the online lookup instead. Wonder what happened there. Hopefully it shows back up next week.

Because in 20 years when you are not around and they don't renew their passport it might be extremely hard to gather all the paperwork needed to get approved again. It's not like a native born that just needs a birth certificate.
