    i really wish there will be news tomorrow or on Friday. btw guys, ill be in manila on Friday. itinerary would include doing the CFO seminar. anyone here who will attend seminar next week?

    Christian'sgem, when are you going to attend the seminar? I think I should attend the seminar na rin. My house is near St. Mary's, what about you?

    i plan to have it next week, if monday is a holiday baka tuesday. ill stay in eastwood, libis. is st. mary near libis? maliligaw pa yata ako :wacko:

    Yes, eastwood is near St. Mary's. I will be coming from Whiteplains so super neighbors lang tayo. I can pick you up para sabay na tayo. :D

    That's for DOCUMENT VERIFICATION which I think is now abolished. To make sure, call the US Embassy Manila at (02) 301-2000. Ask the operator to connect you to DELBROS. Ask them if you still need to pay P650.

    According to Lorraine, Thursday is a holiday in the embassy contrary to what she said before. But Oct. 30 (Bonifacio Day) is a Sunday.

    Hey "I QUIT" , Thanks a ton for this info. I owe you a beer! You saved us a lot of headache, as did reading the VJ Guide on getting a SSN. We went to our SS office this afternoon and the lady was nice but she said we could not apply because it had not been a month and so my husband would not be in the system yet. I was nice too, and gently commented, oh, I thought it was two weeks? She said, well, he can't apply anyways because he has a K-1 visa and you don't have employment approval. Roadblock # 2! Fortunately, she was genuine and asked a coworker's opinion, because i pressed her and showed her the SS info thing the guide says to print and bring along to the SS office. The second lady said, oh yeah, I've done lots of K-1s, no probem! The first one persisted and the second one said, hey , do you want me to take this over and you can go help decorate the employee break room for christmas? She said yes! So the second lady got our application in. She was funny- she was cheerful and said, I love it when I'm right. Gosh, we did too! She said we may get the card in only one week.

    Minang, kahit pala magkapatid, di sabay ang interview kahit isa ang petitioner? Hmmmmm.... nasa US na si twin sister?

    Yes, with her 2 kids. They flew last Nov. 8, i was crying that time becoz they waited me for 3 weeks but but my sis got impatient waiting my visa so she hurriedly but tickets at iniwan ako hu hu

    Anyway, have you found the site of contacting usem?

    Yup, thanks! Its the same e-mail address where my fiancee sent the inquiry two weeks ago. Up to now, no reply.

    iam hoping na inaasikaso mga pending cases... my garsh! pangit ng sistema nila. instead sana na inuna mga new applicants sana tinapos muna saten. sana tayo ang binigyan ng lift sa document verification instead na yung mga new interviewees... naiiyak na tlga ako... :crying:

    you're not the only one sis! and korek ka dyan, it's really unfair. Like for instance, my twin sis has her interview Oct.14,2008, she got a text message from Delbros the day after her interview. In my case, I was interviewed Sept. 26 and unfortunately, still reviewing my case.huuh hu hu :crying:

    Ay bakit ganun? Whats the difference between your case and your twin sister's case?

    Hello everyone , Here's my story.....

    Me and my fiance( husband now) filed for K1 before last 2006 But that time we did not met in person. The USCIS Request for Evidence....we just ignored it

    I hope you two never have children... :blink:

    She is your future daughter inlaw? If not why worrying if they're going to have children.It's their problem unless you help them financially then its your right to tell her, "I hope you two never have children"

    I think she meant she hopes they never had a child during the time that they were engaged but never met in person. It was a joke... Like how was she going to get pregnant when they haven't met yet.
