  1. @Bh_sarah Thanks for the help! I should have read that section but I was too focused in on the all of the paperwork! 🫣
  2. @Bh_sarah My fiance now has a question. She knows that she will need to get translated and notarized: 1. Police Records from Venezuela 2. Police Record from Argentina 3. Birth Certificate (Venezuela) Will she also need to translate the: Venezuela stamp that legalized her birth certificate? (I am not sure what the name of it is in English. She wrote me this: "certificado de nacimiento con la legalizacion y apostilla venezolana"
  3. @Shane-Debby NOA1: FEB 18, 2022 NOA2: APR 17, 2023 In Transit to Buenos Aires, Argentina and K1-FTP Email: July 18, 2023 So it sounds like I will likely submit the regular I-134 instead of the I-134A even though she is from Venezuela? (Or i could do either one?) Not sure if it really matters. I think I should maybe wait until Aug 1 since the expiration is 07/31 on the I-134.
  4. I also am curious if I will need to fill out I-134 or I-134A since my girlfriend was born in Venezuela. She lives and works in Argentina so I am not sure about where to find that out.
  5. @Shane-Debby What should my expectations be for the home stretch and wait time? I'm not asking for specific timeline but just a ballpark estimate on each of the remaining steps. Thanks!
  6. I also got the email that it is being shipped to the embassy. I wonder how much longer we have to wait to schedule an interview? Are there any estimates on how long it takes to wait and schedule an interview? Trying to decide whether I should plan to see my fiance in Europe or something in September/October depending on the wait time.
  7. Thanks y'all. I don't have the NVC# yet so I hope to get that soon. I emailed the NVCResearch over the weekend. My NOA2 is April 17.
  8. Good Morning, Where do I look for the NVC case tracker? Am I able to use the WAC# or does it need to be a different Case #?
  9. @Jon & Pau I understand. My case is now shipping to the Buenos Aires embassy and am hoping for no back logs. End of October or November is probably most likely as well. I am starting to regret doing this process with the United States. I should have just sent my fiance to Spain and figured things out from there. It is such a better country than the stale and lifeless USA :(. And @Bh_sarah @Shane-Debby Thank you for the help!
  10. @Shane-Debby Hello, I expect to be receiving my case number any day now as I am nearing the 90 day mark since NOA2 and I just sent another email request to NVCRESEARCH. I am a little confused on the next steps that I need to do. What forms and any other info do my fiance and I need to start getting ready? And what is an estimate of my timeline for the interview etc? My fiance is in Buenos Aires, and the Embassy appears to have no or minimal backlog. I know about: DS-160 I-134 Police Records Tax Documents What else is there? Thank you!
  11. @Jon & Pau What makes you think it will be as long as Christmas? My NOA2 date was on April 17, so I believe I am just a few days behind you. Do you not think getting your fiance here in September or October is possible?
  12. @gooblue Can you provide the link that you used to inquire for the case number? My NOA was 04/18, so one week after yours.
  13. I believe it's 5 years in Portugal for citizenship, but for Spain it would be 2 years for you since you are from Latin America. My mom was born in Puerto Rico, so I may qualify for the 2 year citizenship as well, but am not 100% sure. In which region of Brazil do you live? I recommend you take him to Rio de Janeiro, and maybe even down to Argentina and Uruguay! The people in Brazil are fun, and I enjoyed my 2nd time in the country. I have also enjoyed visiting Paraguay and Chile as well.
  14. Valencia is definitely an amazing city and is much more lively than any city in the US. I am living in Greenville, SC and it is a pretty good place, but I feel like I will need a change abroad in the future with the way things are trending in the United States. I feel like having kids here would be a bit of a burden because of the lack of public transportation and I don't like to drive and sit in traffic. My fiance is from Venezuela and is living in Argentina, we were in Brazil about 4 weeks ago (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro). She hasn't had trouble with her Venezuelan passport in any place, including Europe. I know that people from Latin America benefit from a fast track to citizenship in Spain and Portugal which is why I think it may be a good option for her and myself. I am currently in a similar situation as your husband, my job is here, I own a condo etc and definitely think it won't be easy to move abroad if I do end up making that decision. I just hope I know the status of this visa soon. If it fails, I will probably send my fiance to get things started in Spain and figure things out from there.
  15. Hi Sarah, I am starting to get frustrated as well. At this point, I am starting to care less and if my case gets rejected or RFE, I might as well move out of the US. Valencia, Spain has been calling my name for a while anyways.
  16. Ola @Bh_sarah, My receipt is in the 52300's. Should I be expecting an update any day now? Obrigado!
  17. Hello All, My receipt date is from February 17, 2022. My fiance lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but is from Venezuela so I will update this once I find out.
