  1. Good Morning, I have a quick question. For the 5cm passport photos that we will need to submit for the I-485, is it ok if we print more and use the same one that we used for the Interview or do you think it would be better to take a new photo?
  2. @Crazy Cat I just checked. It shows as approved, but it should take a day or two for it to show as issued I would think.
  3. @Crazy Cat Where do I find this? I think they said it would officially be approved sometime today and I should get an email.
  4. Good Morning, My fiance had the interview in Buenos Aires and was approved. She should get here in the next 4 weeks or so. First week of September.
  5. Update: Ours says photo will be taken at ASC. I am guessing that is in the embassy or after the interview. It doesn't say much in the instructions https://uploads.mwp.mprod.getusinfo.com/uploads/sites/111/2023/03/K1-K3-Instructions-packet.pdf
  6. Thanks @Bh_sarah, I will now wait until the interview next Tuesday for now. Do you know if the below is correct? For AOJ - We need to fill out: I-485, I-864, I-131, and I-765. I don't think we need to fill out the I -693 if anyone can confirm? I also wonder if we will need to submit the police certificate again for the I-485?
  7. And one more question. I am starting to get a bit ahead of myself haha. I am from/live in South Carolina, so when I send the I-485, I864, I131, and I765 after marriage, do I need to send it to the lockbox in Chicago?
  8. @Bh_sarah Just to confirm. My fiance has the medical exam (vaccinations etc.) on Tuesday. Is that the biometrics exam?
  9. @Bh_sarah That was on the DS-160 and it refers to the interview. So I went ahead and sent her the NOA2
  10. @Shane-Debby Thanks! I will send the NOA2 that I received on April 17. It is the I-797 notice right? Includes the WAC# at the top left corner.
  11. @Bh_sarah @Shane-Debby I have a quick question. Please see the highlighted below. What do I need to send for evidence of the I-129F approval?
  12. Good Morning, I was able to schedule the interview for August 8. I just want to make sure that we have all of the documents. 1. DS-160 Confirmation Page 2. 5x5 cm photographs ( we bought 4 copies) 3. Bring physical passport and copy of biographic page 4. Birth Certificate from Venezuela 5. Police Certificates from Argentina and Venezuela 6. I-134 financial support form and additional evidence of my salary and assets 7. Addiditon evidence of relationship (recent photos) She has not been previously married nor in the military etc. Thank you!
  13. @Bh_sarah Boa tarde My fiance was able to pay last night, so it might take 2-3 days for me to be able to schedule the interview. And as for safety in Rio, there is definitely a feeling that one needs to take precaution. I have felt the the same in Mexico City and Beirut, Lebanon as well. I think Beirut may be safer but Brasil, Mexico, and the US seem pretty comparable in terms of safety.
  14. So here is why it is about $90-100 cheaper. It is because the official exchange rate of the Argentine Peso is 270 pesos for $1 USD. The Blue Dollar rate which is the rate everyone uses is 525 per $1 USD. So I just sent her $150 with a $25 service fee via Western Union and she will be able to get out 80,000 pesos. @Bh_sarah I had forgotten that you were in Rio de Janeiro. I was there in March and in Sao Paulo for the 2nd time and really enjoyed it. I went up to the Pao de Azucar at sunset which had a really nice view.
  15. @Shane-Debby @Bh_sarah I have capital one venture, so I never need to call when I am going overseas. I will try again, but I think it may be better to do the cash payment since it is about $100 cheaper.
  16. Now it keeps denying my credit card. I may just send her cash. I will likely do that if it is not fixed by Monday.
  17. @Bh_sarah I will try that now. Knowing Mercosur, hopefully it will be similar
  18. @Bh_sarah They sent the email with the info, but the information isn't too specific. I think I should go ahead and pay since my status shows as ready.
  19. @Bh_sarah I just finished my DS160. May I now register to pay the fee and schedule an interview? Or do I need to wait for the package now? Thanks for the help!
  20. @Bh_sarah I am almost done filling out the DS 160. Should I wait for the embassy to contact me or go ahead and send it?
  21. Looks like I almost have all of the info ready. My fiance is having trouble with the obtaining the police records from Venezuela. She has one from 5 years ago but I believe she needs one that is more recent.
  22. @Shane-Debby Thank you. Luckily, she does not have children so that will make it easier. So you recommend she obtains the two passport photos before we start it?
  23. Just checked and got the Case Ready Status. So now my fiance needs to submit the DS-160 and I will work on the I-134. Will my fiance receive an email or how does this part normally work?
