  1. Hi everyone, I’m getting ready (way ahead of time) to submit my I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, and I’d really appreciate some feedback on whether my packet looks strong and complete. Here’s what I will be including: -Cover Letter. -Form G-1450 (Credit Card Authorization). -Form G-1145 (E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance). -Completed Form I-751. -Copy of my Green Card (front and back). -Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage (see below): Apartment lease agreement. Medical and dental ID cards (through Amazon Benefits). Joint bank accounts (Checking and Savings) and statements with regular transactions. Car insurance. Supplemental, Life, and AD&D insurance (through Amazon Benefits). 401(k) retirement plan (through Amazon Benefits). Copies of both our driver’s licenses. Official IRS tax transcripts (including W-2s) for 2024 and 2025. Internet, phone, and car wash accounts. Mail and packages addressed to me and/or my husband. Photos of us together. Does this look like enough? Should I include something else? I have heard something about a notice enclosed in the 2-year green card envelope. It says, "Use this tear-off portion to speed your application for an extension or replacement card." Is it necessary to include this notice? Thank you so much in advance for your help and guidance!
  2. You dont need the sealed envelope to file your AOS packet, the only thing you need is to send a copy of your DS-3025✅ If you also want, print some screenshots from "PAGE 14 OF FORM I-485 INSTRUCTIONS, SECTION 10" and "PAGES 7 AND 8 OF FORM I-693 INSTRUCTIONS, SECTION 3", then send them with your AOS packet📨 I sent my DS-3025 along with those screenshots and got approved with no RFE☺️
  3. As soon as you can✅ Its not mandatory but try to send your AOS packet before your K1 visa expires, that way you wont be "out of status"🛂 I got married on 29 February and got my AOS NOA1 on 18 March, my K1 visa expiration date was 29 April📅
  4. We included this for our "Proof of relationship" and we were approved✅ ➡️Flight itineraries and boarding passes ➡️Passport stamps to SPAIN and USA ➡️Hotel reservations ➡️Travel history (from I-94 website) ➡️Dated photographs We did everything on Google drive documents📰 Later we printed all the evidence on regular paper (the photos too, we wrote the dates, the names of the people who were in each photo and a little description of what was going on in each photo)🖨️
  5. Mine took 2 weeks from RFER to NOA2✅ This happened last year📅 Total was 428 days from NOA1 to NOA2😅...we suffered the huge and horrible Covid backlog and delay🤢 ➡️We filled our petition on 2022, got the K1 visa by late 2023 and the conditional Green Card this year 2024
  6. Mine took almost a month to be at NVC...but this was back in 2023📅 ➡️NOA2: 30 August 2023 ➡️At NVC/Case number: 25 September 2023 ➡️In Transit: 11 October 2023 ➡️Ready: 16 October 2023 If you want to know if the NVC has your case, send them an "Inquiry form" asking about your case and also your case number✅ Attach a photo of your NOA2 letter also📷 🚨This is the website: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
  7. No, they didnt take me to any secondary room at all, the CBP officer just wanted to see my K1 visa packet, my passport and asked me when I would get married🥰 I think it was 10min total🛂 You dont have to put any info in the I94 form, its done during the CBP control, you just need to check later if the info on it is correct, I checked mine the next day after I arrived in the US with the visa and everything was correct✅ Its important bcs you will need this document for the AOS‼️ I also went to a familiar airport so I felt more relaxed, good thing you are going to do the same too☺️ I had a connecting flight in LA airport, I had 4 hours layover and it was more than enough, I even got bored LOL😆 so you will be fine too, dont worry♥️
  8. “Chicago Lockbox📫” “USPS✉️” ☀️GC Timeline☀️ ➡️NOA1: 18 March 2024 ➡️Biometrics: 8 April 2024 ➡️NOA2: 16 May 2024 ➡️Card Produced: 24 May 2024 ➡️Card Received: 28 May 2024 ☀️EAD Timeline☀️ ➡️NOA1: 18 March 2024 ➡️Biometrics: 8 April 2024 ➡️NOA2: 10 April 2024 ➡️Card Produced: 26 April 2024 ➡️Card Received: 29 April 2024 ☀️AP Timeline☀️ ➡️NOA1: 18 March 2024 ➡️Case closed: 24 May 2024
  9. I also did the K1 visa and everything was very easy at the airport✈️ Go to the visitor´s line and when you are with the CBP officer just tell them that you are entering with a K1 visa, give them your passport and the K1 visa packet✅ They will open the packet to see the documents, see your passport, stamp it (near the visa page) and maybe ask you when you get married or something similar🛂 That was my experience, very smooth. I know you are worried (I also was) but believe me, its going to be ok♥️ Make sure your I94 says you entered as a K1 visa🚨
  10. Yes its awful The EAD and AP will be $650 each...its crazy plus $1540 for the GC... But the GC will allow me open bank accounts, work, travel and all that, right? 3k is too much after all the expenses we are having with this visa.... I know ppl who got their GC in 3 months so I hope to be lucky too
  11. USCIS is expected to raise GC fee around March, in addition to making the EAD and AP no longer free when applying for them along with the GC🫠 The AOS is going to go from $1,225 to almost $3,000, crazy🙄 These changes will probably catch me since I won't be able to do AOS until April, so I'm considering applying for the GC only (it will cost $1540)🤔 Am I okay if I only apply for the GC? Once I have the GC I will be able to work and travel, right?🙏 Thank you❤️
  12. This is for the people who have just sent the Green Card paperwork to USCIS🛂 Could you pls tell us if they ask you to have a new medical exam due to the new requirement that we must have a last dose of covid from no more than 12 months ago?💉 I hope not...because when I had the medical exam (8th November) the requirement was not in force so it wouldn't be fair if I had to redo the medical😥 My DS-3025 was marked as completed back then before this new requirement come✅️ Thanks❤️
  13. Hello everyone🌈 My boyfriend and I are getting married soon and neither of us will be changing our last names✅ I am Spanish so I have 2 surnames (one from my mother and one from my father)👨‍👩‍👧 Will having two last names be a problem when doing the Green Card process?🤔 Is being married but having different last names a red flag?🤔 Thank you❤️
