  1. Yes, it's been this way for years. The middle initial is correct. I agree, I think it may cause more issues to try and 'fix' it. .
  2. I received my new 10 year greencard in the mail this week. Yay! However, I have become aware of something which I previously didn't think was an issue but maybe it is? So, on the front of the card it shows my last name, first name and middle initial. All good. But on the back where the name is again, it only shows my middle name initial. Not my full middle name. My first and last name are there correctly though. BTW, I do not have a long name, so it could definitely all fit. I have been a greencard holder for many years and looking at my prior cards they are all exactly the same, with only the middle initial on the back. USCIS definitely has my middle name as I have always submitted it to them on any forms. Additionally, all the I-797's they have sent me show my full name. First last and middle. Not sure if I should query this with them? If so would I have to submit this as a typographical error and send the card back? I really am not keen to do that as I have some upcoming travel later this year and given that it took almost 19 months for this card to be renewed, I am certain I would not get it back by then. Also, would they even agree that it is an error and fix it? I should also add that my passport shows my full name, first last and middle, but, despite the lack of a complete middle name on my greencard, I have never had any problems whatsoever when travelling in the past. I guess I could always carry one of the I 797's with me when I go overseas, as previously mentioned, it does show my full name and my A number. Any thoughts? Taylor
  3. Good news. My status updated yesterday to card has been produced, so things seem to be moving along now.
  4. Hi, I am wondering if anyone has any ideas about this situation. My 10 year green card renewal was finally approved after 18 months. Case status was updated on March 7th 2023 to say it was approved and card is being produced. However, since then I have had no further updates. Nothing at all to say the card has been produced or mailed. I am becoming a little concerned, as my understanding is that once the case status changes to card is being produced, then it should only be a few days before mailing confirmation and the card being sent. Should I submit an inquiry at this time or wait a while longer? If I do submit one, then should I do it under card not received? I see it says that this is for a card that was mailed, but in my case I have not received any update to say it has actually been sent. Becoming a little anxious and getting the feeling it could be lost somewhere. Any thoughts? Am I being unduly concerned? Thanks, Taylor
