  1. I’m in the same boat. I have tried to chat with three different agents and they won’t give me the code. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Now thinking of calling the uscis contact number on Monday.
  2. Hello guys. Has anyone had success with calling the USCIS contact number and speaking with an agent to get their online access code? I’ve tried the “live chat” with Emma three times (on three different days) but every time the agent declines to go provide me the code. And they log out before I even have a chance to ask a follow up question. The last agent I chatted with was kind enough to let me know when our biometrics was scheduled for but I’m concerned the biometric appointment notice may not come in the mail before the date since they scheduled the biometrics so close to when they received our AOS packet Any advice/tips will be much appreciated.
  3. Online access code will come in a separate letter
  4. https://slec.ph/registration/us/visa-applicant.php That is the website to book your medical. The medical has to be completed before you for your consulate interview. The instructions on the website I linked above is very clear. if you have received your case number (or K1-FTP) from NVC and your status on the ceac website says READY, then you can go ahead and book the medical. NOTE: Read and follow the instructions for the medical and you will be fine. Good luck
  5. Your statement can be misleading because last time I checked, K1 visa holders (which does not apply in OP’s case I know) can enter the US with intent to adjust and can do so legally which is not fraud. please be clear and specific in the information you provide to people so people do not get the wrong information.
  6. Consider creating a new thread with this information so other people can provide some answers/advice even though this feels like it’s kinda out of the DIY realm. But maybe other people would have more information for you. good luck with everything
  7. The OP was accused of “still not telling the truth in 2023”. That’s what I was referring to.
  8. This is gonna be really tough. From what I know (I’ve applied for a NIV from the same embassy before too), they take your fingerprints when you go for a visa interview. In 2001, they would have a set of fingerprints and it would still be the same in 2002 even though you now have a different name and DOB (at the time). I’m surprised they didn’t catch that when you applied for the K-1 visa and it never came up during the interview. Can’t think of what your explanation (even with a lawyer) would be that would convince the IO at the embassy in Lagos to issue that K1 visa now that there seems to have been a case of a willful misrepresentation of facts. Not trying to discourage you but just laying out the reality. I hope it works out for you. Good luck
  9. Good to know that people no longer require a physical CFO stamp after getting the visa. Makes the process a lot easier.
  10. We managed to book the CFO counseling in Cebu two days ago. The first appointment they have available was September 12, which we took. And yes you can book an appointment without having a visa yet. I know we’d still have to go back to get the CFO sticker once we get this visa. Btw at this point we only have NOA-1 and likely may not get NOA-2 until sometime next month or early September based on current processing rate assuming no RFE. From talking to a few people we decided we’d just go ahead and schedule the initial counseling and then go back for the sticker immediately we get the visa. Maybe try one of the other cities (Davao, Cebu or the third one, can’t remember) and walk in. Explain the situation and you might be able to get it done same day or faster. good luck
  11. Another source puts the number at about 299 for Thursday July 13th
  12. Really curious to see how the case ends. Its true when they say having a good lawyer solves close to 80% of your legal issues especially with things like immigration and divorce. Good luck to OP
