I do know that under 18 content is strictly illegal and it is the same here too. I don't work with anything like that and never will. I am mostly just afraid about +18 stuff and how that would be viewed in the environment of the interview, you know? Admittedly, not being able to work is a downside because I would like to be able to help out the household financially as soon as I arrive. Of course I would like that, but it isn't the case! If I have to wait, I have to wait. We are accounting for and prepared for that downtime when it comes! Until I can actually work, I will not do anything of the sort. It's ok, it gives me plenty of time to refine my cooking and cleaning skills haha

Mostly because me and my fiancée haven't actually married yet. I know the CR-1 was also a possibility but I am pretty sure that one would require us to marry here in Brazil and then go through the process of acquiring it for the trip. It is more inconvenient because I can speak English decently well but my fiancée cannot speak Portuguese. It could be useful and it is definitely Plan B for the moment, but since we are not yet married we would need a K-1! Ideally we would get a K-1 so we can hold the wedding ceremony in America where she will be more comfortable and we will also be able to invite all of our friends more easily!

OH Gods, yes totally agree. I had no intention of bringing work examples into the interview or anything like that. I mostly was (and still am) just confused about the possibility of needing to provide my social media accounts I used for that business on the DS-160 or if I can just leave it out and just put my personal social media which has none of that. Basically, I have a Twitter which I use professionally and I have a Facebook which is very much just a me thing that maybe 5 other people know exist haha I am still a tad bit unsure if the Consulate will want to know about my Twitter and possibly investigate it or if I can just inform them that I am an "Artist", "Digital Creator" and just mention (if prompted) that it is Adult Content?

Yes, as well. I have no idea what the U.S law's stance on pornography is. Specially when it's more specifically about artwork like what I do. And not only that but I also just want to know if it is the kind of thing that would be okay to bring up in the interview process, you know

Hey everyone. Thanks for the attention, first of all. Secondly, obviously I won't be going into details about any of what I do. But, you know, like the title implies there will be mentions of +18 topics so please keep that in mind if it makes you uncomfortable. --- With that being said: I'm in a bit of a situation here! Me and my fiancée have been in the process of filing for a K-1 for quite some time now. We have received the NOA2 and are on the process of preparing for the interview process. However, I have been having some issues filing the DS-160. See, I work with providing Adult-Oriented Commissioned Digital Artwork. Pornography. Straight up no ifs or buts. VERY kinky at that. For the last couple of days I have been having trouble figuring out if that would be an issue during the interview process. I know I need to inform the Consulate of my main source of income, and this is it! I draw. But I have no clue if this is something that would be considered undesirable for the interview process. Or even downright illegal, I have been having a lot of trouble determining where the U.S stands when it comes to pornographic digital artwork being illegal. I am going to provide them with my socials (which will be damn awkward I am sure) but what can I do? I use Twitter to advertise myself, I need to give them my Twitter profile both for the sake of it being a social platform I use and also part of what makes my job work. At least, that is what I think I need to do... Frankly, I wouldn't really know what to do in case it is something that will get me denied from the Visa. Because this is what I do for a living, there is no way around that. And I don't think lying will get me anywhere. I think I am just asking to know what I should be prepared to listen from the consulate? Is it okay to inform them what I do for a living in this case?
