  2. I think if you're marriage is authentic/bona fide there's really nothing to be stressed about. Probably stressed on what kind of USCIS Officer handles your case. Some are super nice and easy and some just like to give people a hard time.

Divorce waivers are stressful tho because they have higher chances of thinking your marriage isn't real. Burden of proof lies with you and what you send to convince them you entered the marriage because you love each other and not for the GC.

Your stress is only valid if you're actually in a fake marriage. LOL

Depending on your luck you may get a decision either in few weeks or two years. So brace yourself. In reality, nothing changed much for you or will change when it's approved. You can continue working, travelling and living your life as if you already have an approved 10 year GC. You can even apply for N-400 when you become eligible.

im on a divorce waiver so yeah,, im pretty sure i have to wait for another 3 years to apply for n400 which means i really have to wait for my 751 to get adjudicated. plus the stress of being on a waiver adds up to that anxiety too, not knowing if the contracted employee actually scanned 100% of my documents and pictures because every one is important to my case. :(

I saw someone post that they could see the evidence they sent USCIS for their 751 on their online account and only 1/4 of the documents they provided ended up being scanned by the contractors for the USCIS officer to look at.

The entire process needs more transparency.

That's why personally, I still prefer the paper-method so during the interview, all your documents will be physically there, available. I don't know how that works if they interview you and they just have the scanned documents on their PCs, and you're unsure if everything was scanned. My documents were like 7lbs total.

this post is so helpful and answered a lot of questions I didn't know in the first place. A good read.

If you need to leave the country while i751 is pending better to get a stamp because if they approve you when you're outside the country, you cannot reenter the US without the new GC. and a lot more

"International Travel Prior to Receiving the New Card

During the period between I-751 approval and receipt of the new card, you will have no evidence of your current immigration status. If you need to travel outside the U.S., before departing the U.S. you should ask your local USCIS field office to provide a stamp in your passport evidencing your status. Such stamps are issued as a matter of discretion."
