  1. Are you saying the tracking says it was delivered on Monday? Or just that it has an estimated delivery date of Monday but still shows as in progress?
  2. So you are just seeking an exemption for the vaccine requirement, not the whole medical? You'll need to file for a waiver. Form I-601 is what you need, lots of info about it on the relevant section of VJ - https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/113-waivers-i-601-and-i-212-and-administrative-processes-221g/ Good luck.
  3. London's usually pretty quick, but what is your Priority Date and what date were you DQ'ed? Please fill in your timeline.
  4. Says above they got approved on 11th May 2023 and if you look at their timeline (on their profile, just click on 'timeline' by their posts) you can see they had their interview in January. Are you saying you filed for a spouse over 2 years ago and haven't had your I-130 approved yet? Are you a US citizen or green card holder?
  5. It may only be another couple of weeks, but no way of knowing, it depends on what they're checking and how quickly they get responses/information from any third party. But if they haven't asked her for any other documents and have kept her passport, that's promising. No point in emailing them, nothing to do but wait it out I'm afraid. Good luck.
  6. I thought it was a standard question for all DS-160's, under the parent info. But perhaps not.
  7. it is usually quicker than that. What’s your Priority Date? Please fill in your timeline when you get a mo.
  8. If you search the forum you'll find lots of references from others who have been through the process or are going through the process. But there's no way of knowing how long yours will take, it could be another day, or another year. You say that you're the male but also talk about 'our case' in your first post, so have you already got your visa?
  9. Because your Priority Date isn't current yet. As above, you don't want your I-130 approved and your case to be transferred to NVC yet! There is no visa available to you for several years anyway, so if you want your 20 year old to be able to get a visa as well, you need the I-130 to take as long as possible so that she doesn't age out.
  10. Did they give you any document or reason for the AP? Anything else they asked you to submit? AP is very common for Pakistan unfortunately, particularly males.
  11. Yes. "Do you have any other relatives in the United States". He'd have to answer yes to that and give details of you and his cousins.
  12. OK, if he's Pakistani then his chances are slim at best anyway. Your sister may stand more of a chance if she applies on her own - her husband staying in Pakistan would be a good tie for her to show.
  13. That's good then, your daughter shouldn't age out. I wouldn't chase it - you want it to take as long as possible!
  14. Have you tried putting that number in to immigrant rather than non-immigrant? But for NVC, use the enquiry form - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Good luck.
  15. Could be 4 months or so from start to finish for an EB case though, depending on the consulate and if premium processing is selected. So pretty quick in terms of getting an IV really - for my case it took longer for the lawyer to prepare the submission than it did for the actual processing!
  16. No, you need to contact Paris directly - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html#ivp13
  17. Yes, you would, and you might find Paris wants proof of French residency, not just citizenship. Most consulates don't like you 'consulate shopping' and will only accept cases from those who are actually resident there - no idea if Paris is among them though, so you can always give it a try. Good luck.
  18. Because (a) we didn't know if your PD was current or not (you'd be amazed how many people have no idea about the Visa Bulletin), and (b) your interview wait only starts once your PD does become current and you're added to the queue for an interview. So it's useful to know your PD to see if you were current before you were DQ'ed or not. But it's about 12 months for first priority cases to get an IL from DQ date (spouses etc), but yours will be behind them. Can't find any other EB applicants, but lower priority family cases have been waiting for several years - most recent case I can find is still waiting after being DQ'ed in Sept 2020. If you click on your name at the top, the 'my timeline' section is one of the things on the menu. There aren't many of us EB applicants around, so the more timelines we have, the better. Thanks and good luck.
  19. What visa? Where is her husband? And what evidence did she provide? Having kids is potential evidence of a relationship together at some point, but not necessarily a current one.
  20. You can file a Writ of Mandamus. Is there a specific reason to visit the US? Maybe another country would offer something similar.
  21. What’s your Priority Date? Please fill in your timeline on your profile, thanks.
  22. So it hasn’t been approved? Please do fill in your timeline, it’s really hard to help without that. Your CPSA calculation will depend on exact dates, but if the I-130 is still pending that’s a good thing.
  23. Employment letter and job offer letter would be the same thing?
  24. Then there’s your answer, EB5 or EB2 NIW seem to be your only options. Although I disagree the EB2 NIW is ‘usually business’. Two thirds of the EB2-NIW’s approved in the last fiscal year were from applicants in STEM fields.
  25. The US will do all that it can to ensure it's done in a 'timely manner', any delay is usually on the part of another country - in this case, presumably Pakistan where records aren't always great, and background checks can be very slow. The officer shouldn't have made that assurance, as it's not up to them how long it takes.
