WIL Witch in law, LOVES IT
-
I just hate anything to do with vampires... why are vampires so popular? They disgust me

Got Mel's social security card yesterday in the mail. I looked at it and it is printed "For work puproses only". What is that supposed to mean? Is that a denotation that she is at this current time ineligible for social security benefits?
Oh well, Interview in 2 weeks, need to start getting together all our documentation from the AoS package.
That's normal, when she gets her green card (Not EAD, it must be green card) you go back to SSN office and show them GC. They will then mail her a new card with nothing written on it like that

Whats with all the porn references?! Yeesh.
Want to know something terribly embarrassing and disturbing? I walked upstairs the other night to get a drink and my in laws were watching a porno on the TV in the living room... They saw me, freaked out, and turned the channel.
(Hopefully Bill doesn't read this, he might kill me )

I HATE TWILIGHT!
It's terrible! The acting is absolutely horrendous. Like really? Are people really eating this ####### up??
It just goes to show that much of the youth of today lack substance.
Me too, I hate it!! Hate how it's all over the place, hate how it's so popular, and what's with that greasy lead character that so many women swoon over?! Gross

In PA, you don't need witnesses, we had no one with us. We got married in a JOP's living room, and he snapped a few pics of us at my request
-
Oh geez... I got married 6 days after my POE, and the officer that processed my K-1 at the POE even asked when we were tying the knot, and I said 6 days.

So, my brother in law received divorce papers yesterday from the bridezilla.
She's claiming severe emotional abuse
She wants half my brother in laws condo and she wants him to pay half of her debts.
How funny is that?
What a psycho b1tch. But does she even have a case, I mean really they were married for like 2 weeks?! Does he have to give her anything?!

I think it's just one of those things, where it's family... so even if they are annoying, well, it's family so too bad Like if my husband didn't care much for my family, I certainly wouldn't want to hear that much or hear him talk bad about them. I'd just expect him to deal with it and shut up
-
At least they let us smile in bio photos.... I hate passport photos since you can't flash your pearly whites!

Mine drove the U-Haul from Toronto to Philly, and I followed in my car. It was all good, he came into secondary with me too
-
The past few New Year's have been sort of quiet... 2 years ago I was in Philly visiting, it was just me and my man hanging together, watching ####### Clark and cuddling with some drinks.... last year we went to a friend's house, just a few other couples.... I guess I'm getting old LOL. I used to party and drink like there was no tomorrow, back in the day on NY eve. I'm turning 30 a week after NY EVE maybe I'll save my energy for that day instead LOL

I think this is appropriate.

Oh god, this thread is totally bringing back memories.... I had a Gino ex boyfriend like 10 years ago.... He was soooo Gino OMG
-
I don't get the signs their making........is that supposed to be wings?
Butterflies perhaps?
Carmine Gotti and his brothers are like the ultimate ginos, and yes Jersey is full of them but they call the guidos here... and they're 10 times worse than the ones from back home.
And if anyone watches the Real Housewives of NJ, all the men on there are Ginos....

$30 for a reusable bag?! They are usually a dollar or two, where I shop. I have like a dozen reusable shopping bags in my trunk, so I never need to worry about bags. I love Trader Joe's though, because they give nice sturdy paper bags.
As for hospitals, all the ones I've been to you have to pay for parking. When I volunteered in the Oakville Hospital, they gave me a parking pass though, as of course I wouldn't pay to volunteer.
-
Umm holy gino.
Hey were you one of the guys in B4-4?? Jk

My interview was in July, so I wore a pair of brown capris, wedge sandals, and a nice sleeveless top Fairly casual, but still a bit dressy

Thanks Jill! I didn't know it cost 6$USD. LOL....now I'll be prepared. And yes, i am totally excited to be going yet sad to leave my family and friends.
You'd think they'd give you the damn thing for free, after all the money we spend on this immigration stuff. But nope, they still ding us for six lousy bucks
I know what you mean, it's a feeling of excitement for sure, and sadness at the same time. Wow, hard to believe my POE was nearly 1 year ago in a few weeks! Time sure flies
-
Oh and one more thing.... you know this already, but get there REALLY EARLY!! Sometimes secondary is busy, and you'll take a little while. So make sure to get there at least 3 hours before your flight to be safe
-
Hi everyone!
Is there anything specific I need to know when I go through POE at the Trudeau airport in Montreal this weekend?
I am bringing 2 luggages, a backpack and the sealed envelope I got with my visa. Also i will have all the paperwork I originally did for the interview itself (just in case)
I guess my main question is what do they give me after they look at all my paperwork in secondary? The I-194?
Do I have to make sure anything is stamped or given to me?
Thanks so much guys. I will totally write a review of the POE once I get to Florida.
Hey Domegal,
Congrats on the big move, you must be excited!! You sound all set, the most important thing is the brown envelope and passport, obviously. Of course have a small list or be able to advise customs what is inside your luggage and stuff.
So they'll take your brown envelope and then give you an I-94 stapled to your passport, this cost $6 USD. That's really important, as you need it for AOS. That's all I can think of, since you're not importing a car or anything you don't have to worry about that! All you'll get back is your passport with I-94 and a stamp on there....
GOOD LUCK!!

Probably fish sticks. That's fish sticks, not fish d**ks.
Who are we to judge!!

The official form to fill out in Ontario is called the N9.... I filled it out and gave it to my landlord in person when I gave my 60 days.... you can find it here http://www.gtarental.com/Tenant%20to%20terminate%20N9.pdf
The Form N9 is the notice form a tenant must use to give the landlord notice that they are moving out.
