We're still 2 weeks away from our interview but after a few days of seeing Submitted for my joint sponsor, the status turned to Accepted.

All I remember is that after DQ, the CEAC graphic changed. From the above to the below.

Not sure about Question 2, but the general consensus here seems to be that your queue position would be based on the April 1 submission.

To the best of my knowledge, it's best to upload it after you receive your interview letter. I received an IL with a date selected by my consulate. I have seen other cases where you need to schedule your own interview date.

I believe this is what they’re referring to. But we can see if more experienced users have better insight.

Sorry. This is an example of where it should be for sponsors. I see what you mean now. I think the screenshot is what they’re actually referring to though.

I believe NVC is referring to a situation where someone has already submitted all the requested information as seen in your screenshot in which a joint sponsor has actually been added and approved. But since you haven't completed those steps yet, you haven't actually added a joint sponsor and therefore you don't see the 'Add a Document' option.

I only got mine via email (IR1 case). And you're supposed to print out the email for the medical exam & interview.

It looks like you haven't added a joint sponsor per se. "In order to process your request"--meaning that the request has not been processed and will not be processed until you provide the below information (name, DOB, documents).

Just filled out the form with fresh 2023 data.

What does that mean though? Are they still processing your case?

I think there's no expiry date so to speak, but I've seen most people prepare an updated I-864 along with updated financial evidence by interview time and new tax returns/transcripts if applicable. The only thing I'd watch out for is the police certificates since they seem to have specific validity periods.

I'm not sure if it's a consulate-specific thing, but I read somewhere on VJ that they don't look at CEAC after you've been DQ'd. For me, I'm having my joint sponsor mail me their updated I-864 along with updated financial evidence.

Which consulate are you at by the way? I recently got my IL from Taipei and I'll be bringing an updated I-864 with me rather than uploading to CEAC.
