If it was me, I would skip the W7 and just file on paper. Married filing separately, cannot be filed online when the spouse has no SSN.
Okay so just to make sure the w7 not required at all to file my taxes? And it won't benefit us at all?

That is not comingling. Just leave it out. You live together. That's PLENTY of relationship evidence.
okay and final question whats this w7 jeanne was talking about? i was planning on filing married but filing seperate because i thought since he's not a citizen, national , or resident that i wouldn't be able to file his income? i looked it up im not really understanding what the w7 is for exactly and if it applies to me ( and if i have to do it because it'll benefit my case). Thanks so much guys for your help. This really is a confusing journey.

USC should still do iRS tax returns this will be requested by NVC at that stage/if not US income , USC will need a joint sponsor
if u r the USC, u have him fill out the W7 to add to your returns
confused? he sends u money
who is USC? do u live in Brazil together now?
most do not have to prove commingling of finances/u need to show time spent together-/ a real relationship
Relax-u are overthinking the commingling part
USC needs US residency
US income or promise of a job when USC returns home
a joint sponsor lined up that is willing to do and sign a I 864 and provide his/her IRS transcripts
Okay so since I'm( the usc/petitioner) a full time student I already have a co-sponsor. We live together currently in Brazil and I dont plan on leaving without him. I have an allowance which he gives to me but i want to show proof that he gives me money. He doesn't send it to me because we live together i just use his card, but what I meant was that I want to prove that he pays for me in terms of the allowance he gives to me (maybe like adding my name to his bank and possibly having my own card to show that he gives me money and I spend it on my wants?), and finally I do have a job waiting for me. Thanks so much for ur help guys btw. Ik im overthinking it but sometimes thats better than being unprepared.

you are overthinking this
commingling of finances is not needed unless immigration feels the marriage is suspect
he can add u to his tax return with a W7 and supporting evidence /that will help show marriage is real
So he can't do the w7 cause A.) Hes the beneficiary B.) He can't do taxes in brazil because he didn't make enough to do the taxes. So are there any other ways to prove financial evidence??

she says they live together and then says "he sends me money"
post is confusing
As in I have an allowance since I was going to school full time and didn't have a job he gives me money to pay for things that I want and need. But I wanna show that he gives me money as an allowance to show comingling of finances.

Well were a young couple so we dont have much to our name you know? Its a bit difficult to prove our marriage financially and I dont want a reason to be rejected for lack of financial ties. Also what is supporting evidence?

You not residing in the US is what's negatively affecting your compliance to the domicile requirement. What documentary evidence of ties to the US do you currently have, other than your citizenship?

Me and my husband live together in brazil as I am a resident. I wanted to build more evidence about our relationship financially. I want to add myself as an account member to his bank because I wanted to show the government that he send me money to pay for my need and sometimes groceries.( I cant do my bank since chase Bank doesn't allow foreigners to do that). I've been afraid to get an account because i don't know how it will affect my domicile to the U.S however I want to show that my husband supports me financially. It would be harder for him to send me money through western union it would be an unnecessary circle of proving my husband pays for me. Should I join his account? And will that negatively affect my domicile?

i actually have a question relating to name change after marriage certificate is issue. when do i talk to the U.S to update them with my name change if i reside outside the country? do i wait until my I-130 process is over and when i get back or before that?

you are the primary sponsor and income is important
since u r graduating this summer (it would be spring actually) and u just petitioned in October, take a job offer, u have almost 2 years till the interview
u may still need the joint sponsor but a steady income is best
Why would it be 2 years if he's my husband? i was told its less than 2 years

The issue of your employment and income will not be relevant until the NVC stage (I-864), and the visa interview for the beneficiary at the consulate/embassy abroad. That is likely many months from now, so you have plenty of time. If you get a good job after graduation, your income should be sufficient as financial sponsor and you would likely not need a joint sponsor.
Okay so I will be using a sponsor because because even if I get a job im not able to prove my income for another year because I would be graduating during the summer and even still I wouldn't meet the income requirements on paper. ( tax forms) so I would still need a sponsor even if im getting a reliable income right?

Either of you can take jobs, move or whatever. Where do you get the idea you must freeze you lives?
I always hear from lawyers or people who give consultations that its not good to do that because they can deny you for that and I really don't wanna risk anything honestly I feel like every step I take has to be questioned and its been giving really bad anxiety because of the process

Hi I have a question I've been unemployed but im currently a student about to graduate college. Can I get a job while I'm waiting for our process or do I have to wait for my approval of my husband's I-130? (He's the beneficiary) and also is it okay for the beneficiary to switch jobs? Or does his employment not matter just mine?

All the answers can be found in the guide. Affidavit of support is relevant when I-130 is approved and you're at NVC stage. For now you're just waiting.
Good luck!
Alright thanks so much i really appreciate your help!

You're in the wrong forum. Form I-485 is for adjustment of status, which only happens if foreign spouse is in the US.
Read the guide, it explains the steps
Then ask more questions in this forum:
https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/110-ir-1-cr-1-spouse-visa-process-amp-procedures/
im sorry i miss spoke i meant like affidavit of support or other forms required for the i-130 applying outside of the U.S

Thinking of early walk-in for biometrics?
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted
Hey so i my husband got an email (i-130) to do his biometrics at a different consulate than what we originally set up and requesting him to go to rio at the same date and time. He gets there extremely early for a number of reasons and they allow him to enter and do his biometrics. They first say they don't have his name on the list then want him to show they email but they're not allowed phones. So they take his biometrics anyways and gets a stamp at the back of his passport. When the consulate closes at 5 i get an email saying he didn't attend but he received the stamp sticker on the back of his passport and did get his photo and finger prints taken. Do we have to reschedule? or should we call the consulate to make sure it was a system mistake?
