  1. i understand too how it is. i see my fiance about every 2 months since shes in mexico but even thats alot of time and im sure for you its alot harder. but in the end just keep thinking to yourself what lies ahead for both of you. what i tell my girl all the time when shes down and cries i calm her by telling her to be patient cuz it brings me down with her when she feels that way and that this time is nothing since we have all our lives to spend with eachother. be strong and always remember that hes by your side no matter if hes not physically. good luck.

  2. I have been self employed for approximately 1 year. What are the chances that me having my own business and 1 (not 2 or 3) W-2 for 2007 will be sufficent for "affidavit of support"?

Does the W-2 go with the I-129f ? I don't think it does but,... when does it come into play? I have not recieved it yet and would like to send my I-129F NOW if the W-2 is not required with it.

i am also self employed and as much as i have been reading and getting responces about the topic you will need tax returns with their w2's for that year. so if im right since i havent filed 07 yet but will before the interview i will include the tax return with the w2 of 07 and also people suggest the past 3 years of returns for extra evidence. i believe tax transcripts that you get from the i.n.s replace the need to have the returns with the w2's. so to keep it on the safe side if you have your last 3 years returns and file this years before the interview use the returns with their corresponding years w2's.

  3. my fiancee wants to leave her daughter in mexico for 2 months but the problem is that once we file for the a.p it wouldnt come that soon. if her daughters has a passport will she be able to enter the u.s if i go get her myself? were going to take her to the interview and fill out her own packet and so on. we just want to make sure if i can bring her with me since she does not want to wait for the advance parole . we will be going through the consulate in juarez mexico btw.

  4. i cant afford the text messages. me and my fiancee use our nextels with unlimited international two way for 10 dollars more a month on both of our plans and i use a recharchable phone card from enjoyprepaid.com . they got pretty good rates.

  5. hi all,

me and my fiancee are discussing if we will bring her daughter with us at time of entry or leave her with her grandmother for a few months to reduce the shock of letting her daughter and grand daughter leave at once. as far as i understand but i could have read wrong that my fiancee's daughter does not need her own passport as she will be included on her mothers. now what i need to know is if we decide to bring her in at a later time does my fiancee need to file for the advance parole and bring her in with her own passport or can i go and pick her up myself with her having her own passport issued?

  6. I'm having trouble finding a list of things needed for my Turkish fiance's interview. The petition hasn't even been approved yet, but we want to know what to expect, be as ready as possible ahead of time, and have a successful interview. Does anyone have a link to some information to help with the interview? a list of questions, or a list of papers and whatever else is needed for the interview, or anything else we should know?

this forum has everything you need to know. try this link to get you started.

  7. she is 5 years old. im going to go through an immigration lawyer since i dont want any mistakes this time around. i spoke to him today and he said her last names not being on the inf129 were not a problem and it could be fixed.

guess you didnt understand my situation. i had a non profit community service agency file my petition not this immigration lawyer. it was the lady that filed for me that screwed it up the first time. now im gonna have this lawyer help me with the second phase and correct the error that the lady did. im not done with her. im gonna go file a complaint and demand a refund. she told me a bunch of b.s that was not true and im finding out alot through this forum. she made 2 mistakes. first was the misspelling of my last name and second..not including my fiancess daughter's last names. its my fault for not asking to check the paperwork before she sent it off.

" im going to go through an immigration lawyer since i dont want any mistakes ......"

Sounds like an oxymoron to me... you didn't want any mistakes so you used a lawyer who now tells you that his mistake can be fixed.... You just gotta love lawyers.....

  8. oh right ..the packets from the consulate. now i been reading about that and the consulate will send her the packet of things to be sent back to them before the interview for example an affidavit of support and so on. now is the seperate packet for her daughtter going to be included as well since she was on the inf129 form or do I have to call them to have them prepare one as well?

  9. hi all.

well i had my petition filed with a non profit local community center and i looked on this forum and got info from other users about having the daughter on the 129f form. so i checked and she was...only problem now :crying: the lady that did it had her daughters birth certificate and since my girlfriend is spanish we tend to have long names for example 2 first names and sometimes 2 last names from both parents. so anyhow...my fiance's daughters name is..(i'll use a fictitious example) maria guadalupe rivera gonzalez.so basically on the form she only put maria guadalupe and not the last names. she did include her birthdate and birth place though.i have no idea why she missed that!!!! the lady should have put the whole name down as the form states first ,middle, last. so now im worried and i am gonna pray that at the interview my fiancee can show the consulate her daughters passport and birth certificate. i wish i would have known about this forum beforehand. i would have gone through all the paperwork before they mailed it out.so any help would be thankful. the paperwork was sent on the 10th of jan 08 to the NVC. i hope that i dont have to start the whole process over again because of this. its already long enough. thanks.
