Maricar received her EAD in the mail today. We have not been able to track it online so this was a welcome suprise. The card was approved for printing on 3/13, the same day as her AP was approved. Now we just wait for the I-485 approval, but we are expecting a RFE because we did not submit a I-693. (Problems finding a CS who knows what they are doing). Anyway, we are happy with the EAD now. Good luck to everyone still waiting on the EAD, I am sure yours will be along soon.
We also did not submit I-693, we only submitted the vaccination copy from the K1 medical and the copies given by the department of health here... though I am half expecting the RFE, I am still very hopeful that we will get through without problem like some people who submitted and got approved before us.

Updated for Andy-n-Maricar's EAD, i also changed the AP date to match the date it was approved. CONGRATS on the EAD. Hope many more will get it this week.

.... So, i shouldn't be worrying about any online touches then since your dates didn't change any prior to getting the EAD card, am I right?I am giving it till Monday but I am hoping and praying it will arrive tomorrow or Saturday. Again, big congrats on the EAD.

By the way, did you get any touches online after the 19th?I just checked and there's no update on 3 EAD's. it is still March 19.. my daughter's AOS still says they sent RFE January 29 and case is placed on hold while my AOS and my son's AOS case still "can't be found". I have been itching to call but I will give it till the end of this month to start calling again.
Hope we do receive it before the week ends... and hopefully, interview letter will arrive with it. Crossing my fingers, toes and hair.

GloAndCole: I'm keeping you and your grandma in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you will receive your AP soon... but I also hope you will consider going for the interview since April 14 is already near and then fly to hongkong right after so at least you could focus on your grandma and you will have your green card waiting for you when you get back which would allow you to travel to and fro without problem later on... but then again, you will know what will be the best. Stay strong.

On Friday I received my step-daughter's NOA for the transfer of her AOS case to the CSC, so both cases are still being handled in the same manner! It was dated the same (March 16th) but just a day later in the mail.
That is good news, at least you wouldn't be worrying about your daughter's case getting lost.
Got my AP in the mail over the weekend. Rather dull sheet of paper with my mugshot. I'll never use it but nice to have another step ticked off......So true... Congrats on the AP.
Today I received AP, it is two pages. Also I was very surprised to get the letter about my case transfer! Almost two months later since my NOA1. It says "this is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred the above case to the following USCIS office for processing: California Service Center...." Well, I am not sure about the speed...seems like they are very slow on some cases... But hopefully it will go fast.Congrats on the AP and I hope to see more EADs and APs from CSC transferees soon.
Of course AP should have your picture, not your wife's! I wonder where they got her picture from, since you were supposed to send only your pictures with the package of documents. Try to either to make an infopass appointment at the local office or try to call USCIS first and talk to the immigration officer there (not just the operator since they are not much of a help)Hey GuysI knew things were going too smoothly
. I received my AP in the mail today and i think they messed up the pic!! They put the pic of my wife who is the USC!!Atleast i think they got it wrong shoudnt the pic be of the non-usc???

I am sharing the same thoughts.. I thought the picture on the AP document and EAD card would be the one they took at biometrics. I would agree would the infopass suggestion. Hope you get it sorted out soon.
We had our biometrics last march 3,2009. We still didn't have any update on our case both e-mail and snail mail. I was looking through some of January filers and their progress is so steady...I am a bit worried now!Haaay! I hope we will something this week about our case...

I am hoping the same way for you and others. I hope you will receive news on your EAD and I hope we all get the interview letter(for those going through interview) and AOS approvals for CSC transferees (if they are not going for interview) soon.

Jeans and white long sleeves sound great, as long as it is clean and neat and you are perfectly comfortable in it.
It will be how you would carry yourself and how you handle the questions that will matter more than the dress you will be wearing. If you are confident that your relationship with your fiance is legitimate and that there is really love involved, it will definitely show. Good luck and God bless.

aside from the couturier and the location, they would also scale up the price if they find out the bride is getting married to an american and getting married in the US.
I had my beautiful wedding gown, complete with veil, my maid of honor's gown and my daughter's gown for less than 10,000 pesos ($200 or less for 3 gowns) My gown was made of expensive lace and had swarovski crystals scattered on the bodice, while my veil had lace trimmings and swarovski on scattered on the entire length. I was from Davao and I went to a local seamstress who is known for making beautiful gowns in our place. I never told her I was getting married here and nor did I ever tell her I was marrying an american. I bought the materials and just paid for the labor. I found out that no matter how expensive the materials of your gown, the labor would always be more expensive.
I was a chepo but my gown didn't look like it, everybody thought it was beautiful and they thought/assumed it was expensive and I just accepted the compliments with a smile
. There was also a vjer before who bought her gown at divisoria for less than 5,000 pesos (she boought it the day before she left for the US), it was very beautiful and she looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding gown.
It will not be the price of the gown that will make it beautiful and classy but the one wearing it.... and most brides, especially if they are marrying for love, will be glowing on her wedding day no matter what the cost of the gown will be.

Rachel: I hope everything will be ok with your 2nd biometrics and that you would receive your EAD soon. I believe JulianDavid had some red notice flashing on screen when they had biometrics but everything turned out fine and she had her AP & EAD soon after. I hope the same will be true with your case.
i-migrate: Congrats on getting the physical EAD card. That's way to go!!!
saspak & tea1: I was able to trace all our EAD's after card production was ordered but I still can't trace my AOS and my son's AOS online. My daughter's AOS still says they have sent RFE and that case processing was put on hold but I have already received the letter saying they had resumed processing on her case and that they have cancelled the request for additional evidence. I hope they are working on your case even though the status online says otherwise.

So true, i do need the EAD so I could apply SSN. Thank you very much for the well wishes. I hope and pray we would all get interview letters soon... as for those cases that has been transferred, I hope to see more EAD/AP approvals or even AOS approvals from CSC soon.

Added all the latest AP's and EADs, including our own. (if I miss one, let me know, i also just put in the production date for EAD and AP instead of the date it was received because deliveries may sometimes be delayed which would be USPS factor not USCIS)

I just received an email that EAD approval notice was sent to us today. I-765 case is updated with new LUD (03/19). I have not received the physical EAD card yet. Hopefully it will be in mail today or tomorrow.It is strange to see EAD approval days after EAD production was ordered... maybe they are mailing your EAD card to you now. WOHOO.

It is supposed to mean the case will be processed faster and be approved without interview most of the time.
