  1. hi my name is chezzy and this is my story came here illegal across the the border in

2000 got married 2007 got a 5 years old now with my husband send in paper 2008 got

denied was in removal procedure but the judge aprove my case my lawyer file back

again got my work permit went to interview again and now get denied for the same

thing again they i say i was a usc but it was the same thin i went to court for the first

time , got aprove now my lawyer say court again . am so confused

How come your lawyer didn't inform you that you cannot adjust status since you entered illegally without inspection, you said you were a USC, can you be a little more specific.

  2. Hello i just received for my AOS a notice "request for evidence"

it says we did something wrong with the affidavit

"it was not filled by the petitioner/sponsor", "even if a joint sponsor will be used the petitioner must submit form i864

its so confusing. so to make it clear

my fiance has to fill the i864 and then we have to fill another one for the co sponsor(my fiances grandpa)?

what we did is just his grandpa filled it.

    thanks

The Petitioner needs to fill in a separate I-864, even though he doesn't meet the poverty guidelines, so the USCIS is correct the petitioner must submit one as well as the co-sponsor.

Just send in whatever they are requesting in a timely manner.

  3. I agree with Tracy, you need to remove your personal info from this letter or ask a Mods to delete it all together, its not wise to attach such letter with all your personal information online, and if I was you I would consult with an experienced Immigration Attorney from the US. Your case seems very complex right now.

  4. Is the DoS attack internal or external?

You really haven't given enough info.

If it's internal then you need to change the security set-up of your Wi-Fi router. Personally I have done the following:

    1. Changed SSID from the default
    2. Disabled SSID Broadcast
    3. Use WPA Personal Security Mode
    4. Enabled WIreless MAC Filter
    5. Changed the default ip address to something other than 192.168.1.1

I think its External, I think its someone that is trying to kill our network connection just because he/she cannot use it.

The other night I was playing online, suddenly everything froze, I had to unplug the device to reboot, I think the culprit is determine to ruin our network.

  5. Thank you everyone for your prompt reply, we have Wi-Fi security enable, SSID isn't turned off, we have passphrase, WPA2 enable, but everyday our Router logs is bombarded with connection rejected messages, DoS Attacks, its becoming worry some. We have symantec Norton anti-virus. The panic came when I read about the harm this attack may cause.

  6. Hey guys, After we have set up our wireless internet to be able to connect our Nintendo Wii, and Kindle. Now I found out that there's an attacker sending DoS Attack (Denial-of-service attack) on our network on purpose to prevent us from using our own service, what should we do to prevent such attack from appearing on our wireless router logs. Everyday we see this attack recorded.

Anyone with that has experienced similar situation? Any advice will be very helpful.

  7. This is worry some. I didn't realize you could be denied for only visiting your fiance only once. It's not that easy to visit your fiance if they live on the other side of the world. How common is this requirement? Does it vary from IO to IO? Do people usually visit multiple times? Have people who visited only once generally get denied?

Like Jim stated above. It depends on the country, for example in Haiti or the Dominican Republic its highly recommended to make at least 3 trips before filling for I-129F, Dom Republic Consulate is notorious for denying k1 visas, that's where my friend had her interview. They got grilled big time she told me.

  8. Its seems to me that the OP applied for I-129F, and they were denied due to the IO believing its for immigration purpose and she said she only went one time to visit her fiance. I have a friend that were denied at her interview horribly because she went to see her fiance only one time, each got interviewed for a hour, visa was denied cause IO thought it was fraudulent.

  9. Just use the search function on people have have lost their Green Card or had theirs stolen and you'll realize that the -- by a wide margin -- worst place for it is the wallet. Thieves go for wallets, and this way they get it all in one move -- Green Card, driver license, SS card, bank ATM card, credit card(s) -- hence the cry me a river when people have to wait 6 months for a new GC and have to chill out $450.00 for it.

I always had my GC in a firesafe box in a Steelcase steel file cabinet in my house. I have taken it out when traveling internationally (once since 1994) or when going to USCIS to my N-400 interview. Other than that, I have not been asked for it or about it in almost 20 years. I have never shown my SS card in over 20 years; all that's needed (all the time) is the number, which you should memorize as soon as possible.

Same here GC, SSC, passports, BC, MC, etc... are in firesafe box which can survive any catastrophic events even Tsunami. I even travel without my GC out of state
