  1. I think there was probably a reason for that that we don't know about. 50 a day would be about 250 a week and that's half of what they were doing even in December before the boost.
  2. Yes I would love to see this too if it's not too much trouble! Helps to know how the spread of the approvals is going
  3. Wow that sucks!! Arent those family based? That's gotta sting to have to be apart so long. 😕 I feel you. There is only one person that recently got a k1 from greece on vj. that is a very limited pool to draw any kind of conclusions from! lol
  4. Hmm, then I imagine those embassies just have more workers. I think you're right. It seems that it takes on average 4-5 weeks for the nvc to receive and then another 6-8 weeks for them to send it off to the embassy. although i have seen some that have only taken 1-3 weeks to be sent to the embassy. maybe they are speeding up? also that wait time for mexico is insane! what type of visa is that??
  5. yeah, i think it definitely depends. best way is probably to compare countries on the timeline vj page. all we can hope for is that it wont take more than 3-4 months from noa2 till interview! that would be ideal haha i'd be more than satisfied
  6. I think it depends on if they embassy is backlogged? If they are too busy there is probably a wait period before they can send it off. thats probably why some countries seem to get theirs faster
  7. Oh yeah this is what I meant. Just the nvc part. I know some embassies take longer but that is way too unpredictable and differs for everyone. Hopefully the nvc wont take long, that's what i was thinking of
  8. Yeah I hope they can speed it up so its about a month. I really don't wanna have to wait another 6 months after noa2 😭
  9. Ohh I thought I saw that they have been improving? Just looked at their website and it says they are working on cases they received feb 2? Does that mean those cases got their noa2 months ago or in january? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html
  10. These numbers are amazing! Do we know how long the NVC is taking these days? like from the moment you get noa2 till you can schedule an interview with your embassy?
  11. Oh wow yeah I have to get on this. The only way I can see this happening though is if I choose a later date for the ceremony and just do a small wedding first. I can't imagine wedding venues would be very flexible and work with USCIS timelines haha
  12. This is what my fiancé wants too. I'm from Greece and he's like why NOT have a second wedding on a Greek island?!! haha it might be too expensive to pull so we'll have to see haha I had a perfect date for August 2024 and this is NOT looking likely anymore. Especially since it seems the NVC is doing better as well haha I think I might have to come up with alternatives for every month from January 2024 to June 2024 lol
  13. As an October filer this makes me so happy!! 🥰 Only issue is with the constant moving timelines my fiancé and I keep coming up with different wedding dates but then it always changes 😂
  14. Eh, Superbowl + Valentine's + President's day... I would be slacking off a bit too lol
  15. Which group was it? We are definitely wishing for opposite things. May we both get our wish 😂
  16. Hmm. Bimodal? Maybe they're thinking that since they are catching up slowly, might as well get the last in, first out as well and then at some point be done with the backlog? I have no idea anymore. That strategy would definitely bring them to 6 months wait time faster because the wait time would be much less for someone filing now
  17. Is it too unrealistic to hope for an approval by November at this point? 😭
  18. Oh wow! Interesting! That's a lot of work. Well this is amazing then 🙌
  19. Well, I'll be damned 😂😂 At this pace I should get my approval in 36 weeks or so 👀 how is this the only scan showing 1k? im very curious!
  20. Am I reading the spreadsheet right that the were 1000 aprovals + denials last week? Or does that include RFE??
  21. Yeah, the difference is that VJ and USCSI base their projections on past cases whereas your calculation for example is in real time about how they are doing in the last few weeks or so. The improvement is easier to see then
  22. So they update that every month? Interesting. Definitely will be something worth keeping an eye on
