  1. Oh yeah, I’ve been living in the US for the past month but I’ve got my İL on June 26th and my interview date was Aug 22nd. The first entry to the US was Sep 15th
  2. IL received on June 26th and Interview is on Aug 22 at Ankara Embassy
  3. Update; after the second RFI we finally got approved and DQed on May 17th. PS: Second RFI was about because we didn't rotate the document 90 degrees! 😒
  4. Yeah it’s really stupid and made us wait longer than it was supposed to be. No, I didn’t upload joint birth certificates which contains my maiden and marriage surnames. Though I uploaded my whole family certificate as jointly with my birth certificate that they can see my parents and siblings with the same (my maiden) surname. Hopefully they’ll accept it this time. Lol.
  5. NVC didn’t accept it. USCIS had it with my maiden name so they accepted it. And yeah I took it from e-government but it said rejected. All the other documents were accepted. It contained my maiden last name as well actually under the section of “explanations” but it had my marriage last name on the top.
  6. Thank you, I guessed that too. But it wasn't a required document though. All the required documents are already accepted on the petitioner's section.. I hope they won't restart the waitng time. 🥺
  7. Hello all, I wanted to submit my dates and ask something. We submitted on April 6th and got RFI on April 19th because they rejected my (beneficiary's) birth certificate. We resubmitted my birth certificate on the same day and waiting for being DQed.. The thing I want to ask is; they sent a message to us via the system and asked to submit "2022 W-2/1099 form for my husband" which they already accepted everything before that.. is that a problem? We submitted it on April 25th but would it cause us more delay? Ps: You guys can add us on the chart. Thanks.
  8. Thank you for the advice. We did, they did reject my birth certificate because I accidently uploaded the one with my marriage last name instead of the one with my maiden last name (Because on our e-government system' after a woman get married the government closes the previous last names but still able to get a document of the previous ones). So we did it and everything is good now.. hopefully. We didnt get any other rejection or something. All the other documents are accepted.
  9. We submitted documents on April 6th and got RFE on April 19th.. So still waiting. I know most of you guys are waiting longer than us but I just want to get some idea of how long we have to wait for the interview.. 🥺
  10. Yeah I am. My visa category is CR1 and I told them that I want to get information about immigrant visa.. and mentioned that "my husband is a US citizen" which since I am married, my last name is not Turkish now.. so they could pick it up that I am not asking for K1 visas.. They said either we will get an invitation about where they will say that they have the appointment date for us so we will register it to the system or they will send the invitation mail with the instructions how we can make the appointment. So either way, we have to wait for the Interview Letter/Invitation first. Idk about IR1 visa appointments. I'm on CR1..
  11. Thanks and yeah Turkish citizens get priority.. it’s the same procedure in every country actually. I just saw on the website of the U.S embassy in Moldova that they don’t accept transfers because the local applications are more than enough.
  12. I called Immıgrant Visa Unit in Ankara today about to get an idea of the wait times.. they just said: wait for your interview letter and then register/make your appointment. Also I was meaning to ask do you guys have any idea of CR1 visa wait time for Turkish citizens? I can't find any solid information about it. It's mostly for non-Turkish people.. or other categories..
  13. Hi, do you guys know about CR1 visa interview wait times for Turkish citizens or any post here about it? Can't find anything solid for Turkish citizens.
  14. Hello, You can get "vukuatli nufus kayit ornegi" only from provincial/district registry offices.. e-government only gives you regular one and it's not the "vukuatli" one. Then you can have it translated and notarized before submitting to the NVC. We are not at that step yet but we did a lot of research about it and thinking it's best for having all Turkish documents translated and notarized before submitting them.. Good luck and pray for us too, for getting approved soon on I-130!
