Even then the EAD is a separate case number and should have its updates separately! These errors are stressful when they are given on pending cases.

I went on my account and deleted the old EAD case so I don't get confused as well!

@digonyc I really hope it means u we're approved but u can only patiently wait for an approval lerter to come or inquire (in writing, through attorney, Congress person or infopass)

ITS REALLY STRESSFUL .  SPECIALLY HAVING THIS UPDATE ON I360. I DIDNT GET A UPDATE ON MY I360 SINCE FEBRUARY 2017.

HOPING FOR THE BETTER AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

You can apply form I-751 from abroad but you must come to the  US to comply with biometrics and interview, but your GC expired and you will not be able to enter. You will need an attorney to help with this. You made a huge mistake filing VAWA. You will need to explain USCIS  why you are filing the  I-751 late.

Sandra, Could you share your experience. My case is a little longer than 18 months. Seeing approvals with same date as my case and so far i didnt hear anything. My spouse is a citizen but i only provided USCIS the social security number. Seeing the approved ones getting  the last RFE of good moral before approval notice and  So far no updates.

    Thank you

    Hi everyone,

I received the 6th prima facie and it is for 180 days this time. I was hoping for approval after 17+ months.

I have inquired a couple of months ago through the congresswoman's office and USCIS responded  using the  same old statement on their website "working on October!"

Anyway since it's claimed that VSC takes 15-19 months to process VAWA applications. One can't consider the case outside processing times! Hang in there everyone & please pray for me.

Next month it will be 14 months since I sent my vawa. No RFE so far. I filed my I485 and I765 last month. I just got the receipts and fee waived. For future fillers I didn’t send any supporting documentation for I912 I just explained that I am out of work and that’s why I couldn’t pay the fee.

Mine is 15 months and so far just good moral

When traveling with Advance Parole, there is ALWAYS a risk of not being let back in. It is completely up to the officer who is at the border/airport. Nobody can tell you if it will work for you. Many people travel successfully, many people don’t. You have to decide for yourself whether it is worth the risk. Sandra always suggests only to travel after VAWA approval. But again, there is never a guarantee. Every officer and every instance is different. Just because it worked for someone else does not mean it will work for you and just because it didn’t work for someone else does not mean it won’t work for you.

When i arrived in the JFK, after leaving the office. There was a nice CBP Officer that i had a nice conversation about the EAD. He said that i could travel as many times i wanted with the card but NEVER leave the Us with a expired card. Never a problem traveling and always same procedure at the airport.

that's great, is this your first time renewing it? did you file through AOS C9? did you r.eceive prima facia for your I-360?

I want to apply for a new EAD through AOS C9 but someone told me that USCIS will not give me until vawa approval  because I have prima facia.  am trying to understand if thats true!

I have applied throught AOS C9. My Vawa still pending. I think you can aplly. No prima facie.
