Yes! Everything went fine at his medical and they accepted all paperwork. They didn’t mention anything about him not having a patient care summary from his GP and accepted the print out of his medical history from the NHS app. I think it’s worth mentioning again that he didn’t have much of a record to be summarized in terms of his health, so for someone who does they may require more paperwork.

There is a UK forum on Visa Journey so your audience would be people going to the same medical clinic, rather than addressing the whole world.

The Patient Care Record is a NHS thing. Some print their own without asking the doctor’s office to print it out for them. Maybe he has what he needs. It’s too late to worry about it now, so he’ll find out tomorrow if he needs anything else.
