    not too important. when was the last time yo showed a person your physical ssn card? 7 years ago a bank refused to open an account because they misunderstood the text. other than that never been an issue in a decade

    It feels like USCIS has really slowed down their EAD procesing the past few weeks. The estimated date for my EAD from visajourney has moved out 2 months later in the past 2 weeks.

    1. If you reside in the USA while working for a Canadian company then: yes, you must file tax returns in both countries. (Canada for your canadian income, USA for your world income). 2. Probably not, but that's for your employer to figure out. The big thing you need to be aware of: you can't work for a canadian company while living in the USA until you get your worth authorization. i.e., EAD or Green Card. If your plan is to live in Canada until you get your green card, all clear. If you plan to live in USA while waiting for your green card, then you would need to stop working, period.

    good news is you got the combo card. No idea about the green card but maybe you should ask them to clarify if it's actually approved or not?

    Which of your cases is in "Actively Reviewed" state? My I-485 is in "Actively Reviewed", and the I-765 + I-131 are both "Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent"

    July 7, 2022 - Forms received in Chicago July 13, 2022 - Notice of Action received for i-485, i-130, i-131, i-765 July 13, 2022 - Notice of Action that previous biometrics will be re-used, and I would not have biometrics appointment. I see that some July people are getting their I-765s approved, a few of them filed later than me. This is great news for those people! Was hoping no biometrics means I'd have faster processing, but it looks like walk-in biometrics is the way to kick yourself to the front of the line!
