  1. She was an so stupid! Laughing and smiling and being a smart a$$ about serious issues that are no laughing matter!

Is it me but did you guys notice that she did not answer many questions, she just danced around and talked so much, that I forgot what the original question was???

  2. Thank you everyone for the kind comments, and to answer another persons comment, this man was a good man, he was only an officer for 7 months, nothing can warrent death, and the reason why the bop isnt releasing any information is because theses inmates killed another person in prison before!!!

  3. A correctional officer was killed on friday, at atwater correctional facility!

My husband, his co workers and all the familys, are so sad, and I spend most of friday night crying.

He was only 22, and since details are not being released to the public, i'll share here.

He was held down by some inmated and while held down the others stabbed him to death with their home made weapons.

What many dont realize is that since bush came in office, correctional facilities have been understaffed, the ratio is at least 130 inmates to 1 officer.

My husband has 200 inmated in his unit, and he works it alone. They used to all have stab resistant vests, but there is no budget for that either.

Officer rivers was a truly hero in my eyes, he served in iraq, and continued to put his life on the line every day being an officer!

I realize that some here dont feel that police officers or correctional officers do anything heroic, as they have expressed it here before, and openly critisized my husband, so I respectfully ask you to please keep your comments to your selves! Thank you

  4. I truly cannot believe that tamara is actually getting this kind of treatment, and whomever sent those nasty messages to her should truly be ashamed of their selves!

I have never seen her be rude or bash anyone in regards to their faith, or anything else. she just simply shared her experience as most do here! But since some are offended by her signature they decide to sharpen their pitchforks, with no regards to what she has contributed to this forum.

She has the full right to have what she wants on her signature, if you dont like, dont click on it. Last i checked this is a MENA forum, not a muslim forum.

And if some are offended.....well grow up! Every religeon gets critisize and islam is no exception.

  5. sad..

Would the joke be sad if it was about McCain? Or Hillary?

yes it would be sad, i love hillary and would have been perfectly content with her as the nominee even as the president, but dont care much for mccain as a leader!

You are getting more bitter by the day illumine, and the mccain supporters will always be there for you to nudge you along. ;)

Nana, why are you so rude? I do not call you names, yet you persist.

I told you yesterday, my vote is my own. I do not need to tell you who I am voting for & you do not need to assume anything.

I asked you yesterday, and you told me none of my business.

I did not asking you today.

I am just surprised at your reaction! But in all fairness how else would you describe your reaction to this whole hilary obama thing?

  6. sad..

Would the joke be sad if it was about McCain? Or Hillary?

yes it would be sad, i love hillary and would have been perfectly content with her as the nominee even as the president, but dont care much for mccain as a leader, calling woman cunts and his continued flip floping makes me not care much for him!

You are getting more bitter by the day illumine, and the mccain supporters will always be there for you to nudge you along. ;)

  7. And the irony is - those 18 million voters you obamabots are calling bitter are the very ones he needs to win. And you preach party unity???

And alienating (insert shunned group of the week here) is not winning him any of those voters.

:wow: You trully make no sense?? Your posts are a complete contradiction, if party unity is what you truly want!

  8. funny how some are so outraged by how the volunteers treated the muslim woman, but there wasnt any similar outrage when mccain's pastor John Hagee called upon Christians to wage a "war" against the "false religion" of Islam with the aim of destroying it.

Never said I wasn't outraged. Nor did I say I was outraged, either by the exclusion of the ladies in question or anything McCain or one of his associates might have said.

My point is that it's a two-way process. This isn't the primaries and the race for the nomination any more. This is, if you'll excuse the analogy, the Superbowl. There are no playoffs and no prizes for second best. Either candidate has to be prepared to win, and to win at all costs.

And yes - it is things like this incident that will matter and stick in peoples' minds come November. Obama is and should be eminently electable. That is not in dispute. Incidents like this, however, damage that electability.

And then to defend it makes it worse!

I dont defend it at all, I was really angry by the whole rev wright thing, and also mccains pastor; because I personally dont feel politics belong in church, people go to church for healing and spritual guidance. I was equally outraged on both. I hate for politics to be linked to faith, (personal reasons)

But I also realize the dirty game politics is, and I dont feel that mccains feels the same as pastor hagee, nor do I feel that obama feels the same as rev. wright. But if those words were spoken right out of obama's or mccain's mouth that would be a different story!

Both pastors were used for the oppositions benefit, and we all just eat the gossip right up.

  9. Actually, folks, had the two Muslim ladies appeared in the photos, it would have deflated a certain amount of the criticism from the Other Side. The Obama campaign could simply have said "Yeah, and your point is what, exactly?" leaving critics simply spouting the same old anti-Islamic guff.

But now, they've just given 'em ammmunition.

And it is because of gaffes like this that Obama will lose this November, and the Democrats will be wondering how they managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.

a lot of us still aren't over the rev. wright ordeal(s) either. ;)

IMO- both candidates suck. but McCain is lesser of the two on the suck scale.

    To each is own!
