I started this thread, not to bring on a religeous debate, Islam is a beautiful religeon, and its guidance has helped me in the most trying times of life. And it does not need to be debated that alot (not all) of muslims that come to the states accomplish wonderful things. And I dont believe that this does happen very often in the US. And thereason for that is they will spend the rest of their lives in prison, in these other countries they would not get much time 6 months maybe.
But this is not a question or debate about islam, this is about the governments of these islamic countries, and how woman are treated if they are raped or molested etc.

OP, how about taking public transport and volunteering some of your time to a charity? You could work in a food bank, homeless shelter, work a storefront like for Habitat for Humanity, etc. That would take up some of your time, and also give you a good feeling inside as you'd be helping your fellow man."I'mmmm so sad and lonnnnely." Hmm. Good idea, there is a dog shelter about a mile away, i can ride my bike there !! Good idea, Oh and by the way guys I live in this town called lompoc, if anyone is familiar with it, its has no mall, the only shopping place is walmart, foods co, albertsons, vons. and thats it. But I am loving the volunteering idea..Thank you!!

These are very true if you go on youtube and type woman circumsition (dont know how to spell). You will see an interview in egypt of woman that absolutely condone it, they cut of the #######, they say itmakes the woman calm. interesting part is there was one man they interviewed he said that he was against it and he feels a husband and wife shoulld be able to enjoy each other, but his wife went behind his back and took their daughter to get it done.
And my family have told me to never go back to egypt or my relatives would kill me. ( I married a christian african-american man)

i never said I have no money. My husband works, he takes care of our family. And what I mean is, We do not have enough disposable income, so we are slowly saving.

I just wanted to shed light on this subject. It made me think of the girl that was recently killed in canada.
I am muslim myself, and i love being muslim IN THE US. Because i can practice my faith correctly without the pressure of culture. And i personally used to always deny these cruel occurences, but it was because I was uneducated. this is real. And We the muslim woman have to make a stand.

This is why I love this forum so much, everyone is sooo supportive!! Well to answer the question.
My family and I legally migrated to the US, but then my parents decided to continue with the immigration proceeding without any legal advice, but they also did not educate themselves enough & they didnt take things as seriously as they should have. I dont know the exact detail of what happened (because when I asked question as to why we were homeles! I was told that it was none of my business, and to be a good girl and not ask questions.)
All I know is we lost everything, my dad lost his business, we couldnt pay rent and were evicted, things got realy realy bad. But slowly things got better, my father found work. the I believe my parents got a lawyer around 4 or five years ago, and thats all I know. But we couldnt work or drive,my father was the only one that could.
well when I moved out, and got married, there were lots of information that i needed in oreder to send in my AOS birth cert., passport, visa. but my father refused to give it he kept it all in a big safe. And I was pretty much just sitting waiting for them to soften up and give me the info. But I couldnt do it longer, my husband is a police officer,we had to go to their home with police escorts to force them to give it.
And now I am facing another problem the money, we hired a lawyer to try and get me the information that I need without doing anything to upset my parent (i sill love them), but he did absolutely nothing.
we have the money for the I-130 but not for the aos and Emp. Aut. So I am also not sure if I should just file the
I-30 first then the remainder, or if i should wait, save and file all together???
Oh and masturbating gets boring

Hello every one, just wanted to vent a little. With this weather getting cold I feel more stuck in the house than ever, at least when it was a little warm I can go out. But I just spen all day on this forum, looking at peoples timelines (iam obsessed with this site)
I have been in the US since I was nine, I am now 22 and still cant work or drive. And my family has pretty much disowned me because I married outside my race and religeon, I guess I just feel lonely, and the holidays are making it worse, the best part of my day is when my husband and step son come home.

Well I have my own experience on this one, islamic faith is tolerable of men marrying woman of other faiths, but woman marying a christian man is just unheard of. And thats exactly what I did, and he's african american to add to that, well to sum it up I cant go back to egypt, I will be killed with little consequence.
But overall i love being muslim, and I embrace the christian faith. the way I see it is both faiths have the same ultimate goal , and that is to serve god, and which ever religion/path a person chooses to take to serve the almighty is good enough for me!!! And personally i see nothing wrong with participating in worship, its worship to the same god,I wont pray to jesus but ill thank god for him any day,

What are the consequence of selling alcohol to a minor. it was a major accident, an honest to god mistake,I miscalculated the years between alcohol and tobaco.
I went to court and plead guilty, the charges were lowered to an infraction because of a clean history. I was fined $200 and there was no probation or jail or anything like that.
I will be open and honest about it, but can this impede with the process, and will it make the process take longer. thanks everyone in advance

Naturally being muslim, and being from egypt, I will take more of an interest in a topic that hits home with me. Yes there is alot of bad things that happen in every religeon and culture, we all know that, but I am talking about my heritage.Let me tell you something, my sister was molested for nine years by my cousin, of whom which we called him our uncle out of respect (because he is so much older than us), and you know what all of the woman in my family told her, dont say a word, their biggest concerne was did he put himself inside you, because that would make her not bleed dutring her wedding night. So dont sit here and get mad at for posting this, this needs to be posted, people need to know, it sounds like you want this to continue to be a dirty little secret. I LOVE being muslim, but hate these idiots that somehow turne it around into this disgusting thing. So dont get mad at me, get mad at the people who you may see treating your mother sister aunt or cousin badly.
