  1. By virtue of being married to both. It doesn't matter where they are in the world.
  2. Bonus question... How did he answer questions about marriages for visit visa? Was there a question requiring to disclose name of the spouse? Was he asked about spouse name at the interview? If yes, did he disclose both or just one? Because this may be a misrepresentation issue
  3. What's the overall plan and when would divorce take place? It's essential to stop polygamy to get immigration benefit and adhere to US laws. USCIS most likely won't ignore the second wife and use it as a bar for I-130 approval instead.
  4. Didn't try. Got issued missing vaccines by civil surgeon during the visit.
  5. Yes, I have advice based on this: Start comingling finances right after marriage. Open those joint checking and savings accounts. Add her to lease agreement. It makes sense you don't share these when you're dating. But once married, this can no only help with evidence with USCIS, but also manage finances better and save for common goals such as house downpayment. Good luck!
  6. How much does it cost to renew a Tunisian passport? I wouldn't play such games. Depending on laws of Tunisia this may subject to fine or criminal charge (I don't know the laws there). In severe cases, if you end up in jail, USA won't step in if you're still a Tunisian citizen. So following the local laws is important.
  7. You should research Tunisian laws before travelling. Just like USA expect its citizens to leave and re-enter the US with US passport, many countries have the same rules. If you're still a Tunisian citizen, you may be requried to enter and leave the Tunisia on a valid Tunisian passport. In addition to that, US passport would probably list the place of birth which can give a clue...
  8. But if case #1 then status hasn't changed? Why would one even need to answer the question conditioned around the change?
  9. In my understanding, it's pretty much two separate petitions for two people. Not different to me filing for my parent and you for yours around the same time. Each case is individual and I'm not sure there is any pattern or rule when it comes to reviewing them.
  10. Can you use abbreviation?
  11. What I'm trying to say, please don't rely on those numbers too much. Each case is unique. However, considering it's the election year, your case should generally be processed faster. People got naturalized while account showed 6 months until decision...
  12. This is a question to a British immigration lawyer. But it shouldn't in theory.
  13. Normal, only 2 months in. Good luck!
  14. Once you receive extension letter it will list service center. You cannot know before that.
  15. Did you use this certificate before for your immigration? Does it match description from here? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html/
  16. You can use random number generator online to get similar estimates to what USCIS is providing... Just set min to 1 and max to 12 and click "Generate" button. I wouldn't believe these estimates.
  17. Congratulations! Based on VJ I've seen the following: - Brought the spouse -> spouse never asked to participate - Didn't bring the spouse -> Asked where the spouse is - Brought extra evidence -> Never asked for it - Didn't bring new evidence -> Asked for evidence So you did the right thing coming to USCIS field office with the spouse. You're almost there!
  18. Just barely meeting the requirement or missing by few thousands will likely result in RFE. I'd find a joint sponsor who exceeds the income requirement by at least 10k to be on safe side.
