See thats why I was unsure, so currently my spouse doesn't have an A number correct? When would she receive hers, after her interview?

Hello my USCIS I-130 case for my overseas spouse was approved and now its moved to the NVC, and I am filling out form I-864 Affidavit of Support, and my question is, on this form it asks for an Alien number and I can see on the notices that i received from USCIS there is an A number but is that A number for me? Or the Beneficiary? The A number is listed in the column that says Petitioner, but I am a US Citizen so i'm confused as to what i should do here.

Thank you for the response, its just strange why some peoples are getting approved even if they submitted it wayy after mine, i guess its just random but still very confusing

Hello, I had submitted my I-130 for my wife who is overseas in Pakistan and I am from the US and I am a US Citizen. I had submitted the case last year with an official receipt date of June 21, 2021. And the only update i got after that was on October 21 2021 that my case was being actively reviewed, and nothing since, it has now been over a year since the case was received, so I am just curious. The case is at the Potomac service center, and I have seen people who had sent their case after mine getting approvals from the same center and so i'm just trying to see if this is normal, i can't submit an inquiry until October but i just wanted to get some insight, should i be doing anything right now or just wait it out?
